Default GCS "Officially" a no pay?

I just saw the following quote at the SBR.com website, http://www.sportbookreview.com:

"Grand Central - Is officially a No Pay - offering stiffed players a poor bailout deal at Jazz Sportsbook"

Of course, I hope that this proves to be incorrect.

If you used your credit card charge their ass back.nothing they can
do but PAY.Don't let these offshore books jerk you around.
Most all of them were sports services at one time.Peter
that has his hand in grand central was "BAY STATE SPORTS WIRE"
back in the 80's.

Sorry Alec....you are correct. It has apparently gotten worse today (assuming that these claims are true-whiich I suspect is the case).

It would be nice to get an update from them, but they are obviously rather busy right now.

TTinCO,

There is not one but two people claiming that there were not paid in "GCS paid me" thread. They both posted their account numbers, so it looks like they don't make their stories up.

Moreover, Ruthman told an incredible story about his balance transfer. So far nobody from GCS has denied it.

What makes you say "sounds like bullshit"?

Can you or anyone define "poor bailout deal" ?

After reading mixed info back and fourth here and other places I called and they transfered my money in full to Jazz. I have to roll it over 4x before a payout but that is no problem with a book that offers as much as Jazz. I had a very large balance at GCS(9-1 last 10 games with them 0-20 everwhere else LOL) so I am very happy about this.

It's all relative Krackman. The way I see it is that, YES-100% of the balance remains-which is a hell of a lot better than previous "bailouts", but, yes there are strings attached-but very reasonable ones in my opinion.

You have to give GCS at least some credit. There are many worse scenarios which could have occurred.

All in all, as far as business "failures" go, this is about as good as it can possibly get.

Guys,

Gcs is not closing or bailing out.
We are however in the middle of restructuring ..
Jazz was kind enough to accept transfers and guarantee payment for some our bigger clients .
All other players continue to be paid by GCS.
Although this is not a perfect scenerio we are getting things done as quickly as possible.

LET ME SEE IF I'VE GOT THIS STORY CORRECT.

WE'VE (GC) GOT YOUR MONEY, BUT IN ORDER FOR YOU TO GET IT YOU HAVE TO NOW PLAY THROUGH YOUR PRINCIPAL FOUR TIMES.

PLEASE E-MAIL ME WITH YOUR NEXT PROMOTIONAL.

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO INTEGRITY AND HONOR.

YOU MUST BE A little SHORT OF CAPITAL. THIS IS NOT A GOOD POSITION TO BE IN IF YOU ARE A BOOKMAKER

GCS,

You are unable to pay to some of your customers, but you continue to accept new deposits.

Did I get it right?

Do they _really_ expect anyone to believe that!? GCS is phuckin' the heavy hitters but still taking $$ from squares...If a small timer happens to get on a roll and hits GCS hard then their "winnings" are transfered to Jazz where it must be rolled over again & again & again and then again before the lucky Sap can maybe cash-out. Yippy Yippy Do...

Having your balance sent over to another book to be rolled over even ONE TIME...is only ONE STEP above having it stolen from you.

So let me get this straight. They are no pay, accepting deposits, sending me shirts, and if you win you get your balance sent to a real book and have to role it over four times??? Thats a good deal? Lou is laughing his ass off right now...

Question for Grand Central Sports...

Why even post up with you - shouldn't a new bettor or a re-up just send their $$ to Jazz?

No reason to risk winning big at GCS and then have to re-win it back at Jazz.

I guess I am happy about the fact that I went 9-1 the last 2 weeks with them and every play was for 4 figs each and I couldn't lose with the place and was putting myself in a tough spot.

I have been playing with Jazz for years and just feel more comfortable having my GC balance there.
( 0-4 at jazz tonight )

I am bringing this back to the top because I think the silence by GCS in this spot
is deafaning (sp). The chose to respond when it suited their needs, but when REAL
questions need answering, they are no where to be found. How is this deal fair for
the poor soul that deposits 1400, gets lucky and runs it up to 7,000 in a couple of
months, then has to roll the balance over X number of times to collect......I realize this
is better than not getting paid, but the proposition altogether reads like a major SCAM.
If you dont agree, please explain your reasoning.

This thread is amazing and the assumptions made by some of you are simply mind boggling. GCS has 100s of customers from MW, RX, PST, BW, MadJacks etc. How many posts of people being slow paid or no paid, maybe 10? We are making payments on time to 99.9% of our clients and are still in the final stages of our restructuring. Just so some of you can sleep at nightl, we have transferred a total of 11 accounts to another sportsbook.

Ok, i see you are here, can u answer this question. Are your future client deposits
going to be subjected to this rollover at another book if they happen to win? Ex. I deposit
2000, I work it up to 6000.....will I be able to withdraw my money.....or will you tell me
that I am one of 11 who will have to roll over my $$$$ to possibly get paid?

The thread exists because you are slow-paying sir. Telling us it is a very small percentage doesn't make me feel any better. It is nice to see a book reply, however. What caused the cash problems in the first place?
