| Thanks Crony.. That's probably the one he is looking for. I don't live far from the border, and you would be amazed (or maybe not) at how many people make weekly jaunts to the Oregon to buy those awful odds football parlay cards.

| I also believe that Delaware is another State where sports betting is legal. I don't know the exact name of the Bill Bradley Bill, but I beleive it had something to do with amateur athletics. Best of luck to all who deserve it. AKNorman |

| I remember back in the olden days, my brothers packing football cards home from school. I was enthralled with the idea of picking 9 or 10 winners and winning $100's for 50 cents. When they explained the concept of pointspreads I knew I had this thing licked. I was a sucker for dogs! Could not stay away from those +38 teams...lol I actually had some close calls with 6, 7 or 8 teamers, if I recall correctly. Then again.. my brothers were probably just pocketing my lunch money, and not delivering to that mysterious football card high school guy.. Next time the subject comes up about how mean they were to me as a kid, I'll have to ask. =)

| Delaware did have the football parlay cards years ago, but didn't make much money and they were dropped. Apparently they have a federal exemption on sports betting from what I've heard. The funny thing is the Delaware Constitution prohibits gambling, so in the law allowing slots at Delaware Park the slots are called video lottery. I don't know what they consider betting on the horses, maybe a walk in the park. |
