Default Would ANYONE Trust These People?

Check out page 9, lower left corner of the current Don Best schedule. The ad is a solicitation for land (read: USA) based illegal bookmakers to have an office in Costa Rica write their action for $25 per person. My question is, what BM is going to put his trust into some people's hands he's never heard of? Aren't there a million ways this could go bad?

The one below is really funny!

www.idsca.com/aboutus2.htm

It's a picture of a bunch of people around a table studying some facts and figures, trying to look like they're putting their heads together to help make "Joe the Bookie" win more money.

Actually it's not a bad idea for someone who does not want all the hassles of having an office offshore, if you are an agent or a guy who has many players who don't play heavy enogh to offset your decisions you can send them in there and not worry about being offshore. I think I know who the guy is that's doing this and you know who he is also Scott or you have at least DEFINITELY heard of him, very respectable.

And if you have a lot of players then they work out something with you where you can have your own line manager and tell him how you want him to change lines, etc. It's really good for someone that might have been recently busted; they can just put their guys in here and wham - up and running.

Trujillo,
Thanks for the reply! I figured it had to be someone with a rep! Only positive "word of mouth" could lead to a place like this even opening, let alone achieving success.

I played in a place similar to this. They use the DB screen, deal 2 sets of lines. If you play steam you get put on a different number and have your limits lowered. If you continue to play steam and beat the window, you get a tape ("please hold; all of our operators are busy now")! This lasts a full minute so they can "move on air". What's stupid is they could take a small hit and then move the number. I guess they would rather play with the move and take nothing at +6, preferring to book the followers at +5 or 4.5. Funnier thing is, the local that puts you in there has a lot of free time on his hands. He's now free to call somewhere else and chase the +6 for himself! Trujillo,

I posted a question about this outfit about a month ago and got no response. Can you send me an email?
