Default 4 years of waiting, has finally arrived. This is it. Time to prove why CANADA owns hockey.
All those hours spent in -52 degree weather playing hockey will hopefully pay off tonight for all us Canadians. In about 30 minutes, I will be living one of my most exciting moments in sports in my entire career, and I'm not even betting on this game. I've been waiting for this now for 4 years for this revenge, and I hope this night won't be a long wait for nothing. I really do believe that we are the best in the world at this game. We are one win away from going for Gold. Hard to believe after we lost our first game, squeak out a 3-2 win vs Germany, then barely tie Czech's late. And now we're one win away from going for Gold. I pray for a Canada/Usa gold medal game, so we could whoop your butts and show you who's king. I have my lucky team Canada mug next to me. My team Canada cap. My Canadian flags hanging all around the room. My team Canada socks and team my Canada underwear on. I have my Molson Canadian beer next to me, with my smoked meat sandwich and fries, and a box of jelly donuts from Tim Horton's.

It's time to prove to the world that we are the Kings of Hockey. I haven't looked this forward to a sporting event in a long time. Go Canada Go!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, sick gambler. When I was a little kid in Michigan the Detroit Red Wings (Kicked so much Canadian A(s) I was soooooo happy us Americans kicked everyone's a(s until my brother wised me up and told me (Gordy) "My F++++++ Hero" was from Canada along with the rest of the Whole Team.....

Looks like you need this sick gambler.....

You got to be kidding me? The US is CLEARLY the best team out there. You guys couldn't even beat the Czech Republic. What a joke! I also would love to watch the US spank the ever-loving sh*t out of Canada because we all know it would happen.

U.S. has to play really well in the semi-finals, the Russias won't let the U.S. rock and fire all day. It just looks like Canada is about to play really well, they pass good and just look like they are sitting on the big game.

That was one of the silliest comments I have ever heard. "We can't even beat the Czech Republic" Excuse me, they are only the defending gold medalists in the 98 Olympics. They have Hasek, and they lost to one of the strongest teams in Russia only 1-0 today. What you said did not make any sense.

your comments bring back fond memories of the fifties for me too! I too remember rooting against the leafs and the canadians because they were foreigners...musta been about '57 that i learned the dual truths that there is no Santa Claus and there are no American hockey players!!!!

And how ironic that we play the russians exactly 22 years to the day after the miracle on ice at lake placid? Oh please Lord, just let the yanks and the canadians win the semis and i promise not to bitch about the finals!!!

In a train car there were a Canadian, an American, a spectacular looking blonde and a frightfully awful looking fat lady. After several minutes of the trip the train happens to pass through a dark tunnel, and the unmistakable sound of a slap is heard. When they leave the tunnel, the American had a big red slap mark on his cheek.

The blonde thought - "That American son of a bitch wanted to touch me and by mistake, he must have put his hand on the fat lady, who in turn must have slapped his face."

The fat lady thought - "This dirty old American laid his hands on the blonde and she smacked him".

The American thought - "That bastard Canadian put his hand on that blonde and by mistake she slapped me".

The Canadian thought - "I hope there's another tunnel soon so I can smack that stupid American again".
