Not bustin' on you Sklu. It's just too close to game time, and a full card of NBA and bases for tomorrow beckons me. This is an oft-discussed topic here and I'm sure over the next day or two a few of the knowledgeable posters here will contribute a tidbit or two. This should lead to a nice little flame war, with lots of great information for you to procure!

Sharps, basically, are good handicappers and smart bettors (not the same thing).

Steam bettors, steam jumpers, don't handicap games, they handicap betting action, as revealed by line moves. When they see a line move, they bet that that's the side to be on, and get down before it moves any further.

Syndicate bettors are the players who make the line move, either as beards for the originator of the pick, or as guys paying for the picks, or part of the group, if there's one, making the pick.

And that's why PJ is one of the "most popular". Clean, descriptive, pinpoint accurate, and concise!

If i am neither a sharp or steam bettor, what are the odds that if i bet ten dimes a game, and the line moves by coincidence, that i will be asked not to play by a place like sbg global? So a steam bettor is someone that is changing the line for someone else? What if my ten dime bet changes the line and someone takes that line? Will i be accused of being a beard? Also, books like sbg will kick someone off just for being sharp, which is a good bettor? So if i bet 10 dimes several times and win, i will be kicked off at a place like sbg? thanks again guys.

Sklu - I doubt that you have to worry about your "ten dime" bets given the fact that you are looking for a book that takes action from 18 year olds. No 18 year old I know should be, under any circumstance, making such wagers unless you're a drug dealer or an idiot (I think the 2nd option is favorite -150000 in my book )

Sklu. MajorWager does not recommend SBG. I am not sure why you are having trouble understanding. If you would care to tout SBG some more please do it in the promotions folder. Thanks and have a great day.

okay, i won't use sbg. by the way, i have bet 11 dimes on baseball last summer. i started at a certain book with 500, built my way up to 30 dimes, and bet 11 dimes on the san fran. giants with the run and a half. not saying it's smart, but they covered. also, i've never done or dealt drugs.

I'll bet Sklus avg bet is probably 10 dollars. Yeah sure, he bet 11 dimes on the Giants today. Where did this guy come from, he's a joker. He thinks we're all going to believe him. If you add up everyone of his bets for the next 6 years, it won't even add up to 11 dimes. You can be sure of that. You should've read the post he wrote at the RX. That was even funnier.
