Default NBA totals

i don't bet very often or very much but i recently took an NBA game for the total under.
say i took 195 points - under.
at full time it was tied at about 90-90.
then in first O/T, they scored 20 pts total and the game was won.

obviously i had the trend correct but lost the bet due to the extra points.

Q. do all books grade totals after any O/T or do some use the end of the fourth quarter?

BTW after it went to O/T, i looked at the Rules section and no mention was made of when the total is accepted.

The total bet is the final score of the game. All shops use the final score not regulation for basketball.

Most of the world's sportsbetting is on soccer games, and on soccer games, wagers are graded on the score at the end of regulation. That's unheard of in US sports betting, of course, but hardly Martian.

TC stop, your killing me. I sure wish it was end of regulation lol. I imagine they figure in a point or so for overtime though. It all averages out. Funny thing is, the games that you think won't go into ot do and likewise

Not European ones, necessarily. Not too many of them will have totals though.
