Here is a quote from The Sportsbook Review, updated yesterday:

Just to make sure everyone understands, the reviews I write on a freelance basis that are posted on Major Wager are totally unrelated to the website and poster called “Sportsbook Review” that is referred to here. It’s confusing, because the link on the Major Wager home page that takes you to my reviews says “Sportsbook Reviews,” but there’s no connection. I don’t even know the person or people who do that other site.

Philosopher, in no way was I making such a reference. If you thought so, I of course apologize. By the way, your reviews are excellent and are always a good read.

We will be asking this person to change his name at this site as it is causing too much confusion. As of now that name is no longer useable.

I didn’t think that you were necessarily confusing the two, Mort. I just think a lot of readers in general probably make that mistake, as The Major implies.

I’m glad “Sportsbook Review” won’t be a posting name here any more. Obviously we can’t change the name of his website, so casual readers will still probably get confused.

The link on our home page was originally “Philo’s Reviews” or something like that. I don’t know if returning to that instead of “Sportsbook Reviews” would help.
