Online poker in the US

I really can't see this holding up forever. Online poker should be back in the US in a few years once the Dems take over the White House. I just cannot see this being an outright ban that will hold because the justification behind it was ridiculous (smuggled in as part of a port security act).

Sure when there is economic disaster and all revenue avenues are desperately explored, til then gamblers will quietly go about their business

There already is online poker in the US. Pokerstars for one. You seem to be under the impression it actually matters what congress does. There is no rule of law on the internet. It's the rule of the modem. Those with cable and DSL make the rules. Those on dialup follow. [img]i/expressions/clock.gif[/img]
