LONDON (Reuters) - Leisure & Gaming said on Tuesday it would block U.S. online gamblers after web gambling is banned there and that it was in talks to sell its U.S-focused business.
"It is the view of the board that following enactment of the legislation it will no longer be appropriate for the company to serve U.S.-based customers and that the company should focus solely on its existing UK and Italian businesses," it said.
Leisure & Gaming <LNG.L> said it was reviewing whether to suspend, close or sell its U.S. operations.
"In particular, the company has received a number of approaches and is at a preliminary stage in progressing discussions," it added. |
