looking at odds to win it all & there are a few #'s that look good
cincy @ 14-1 (this team has a defense now)
atl @19-1 this team runs the ball and plays defense and in NFC

other thought- could just play 2 or 3 NFC teams with chance to hedge later on
i think with atlanta (19-1) and chicago (12-1) you can feel pretty good that one or both make it deep into playoffs
run the risk of seattle/nygiants/or dallas knocking them out

also
any thought as to what books typically have best futures odds?

atlanta and chicago have 1/1000000000000000000000000 to win a superbowl.

vick is a pathetic qb who will never win a title . while chicago had zero playmakers on offense

imo you would be better of just betting the afc and hoping one of the 3 best teams ...indy, baltimore or san diego wiins .

atlanta definitely has a chance. Vick can make plays. He can be 11-26 for 160 and they can win 24-10. They have weapons and play defense. Not many better teams in the NFC.

yall may be right....but scrambling / inaccurate qbs have never won a title.

they have improved on d alot wiht deangelo hall coming into his own , and john a.

they also have a great running game, but come on guys name a team ever that has won a superbowl with a bad passing qb and weak recievers?

2000 ravens dont count

in theory that works ice cube,,in theory,,,,

in reality 16 of the last 20 teams to win the superbowl have had a hall of fame qb and 3 that didnt 2000 ravens , 2002 tampa bay, and 1986 bears had the best defense in the league by far.

2006 steelers and 1991 redskins break the mold.

even those teams that didnt have a hof qb and had great defenses most all had good offenses, except 2000 ravens .

looking back on who actually wins superbowls it gives atlanta and chicago very very very very little real chance
