Default bullish or bearish on gaming stocks?

Has it hit the bottom now? Or could it get worse? I would be betting on the prohibition not to go through. Does that mean we are at the bottom?

It all depends on what you mean by "gaming stocks". If you trade in the foreign markets with stock like Party and BoS, I'd say that there's too many unknowns out there to really make an informed decision. I think that applies to online gaming stocks in general.

If you're talking about the more traditional gaming companies, then anyone with an interest in Macau is poised to do very well. I've been in WYNN since 53 and it's been a great ride - SANDS is also giving a great ride. MGM is a good long-term play IF you believe that their positions in Vegas will continue strongly - same for Harrahs since neither one of those companies is too heavy in Macau.

Way better places to put your cash unless you really want to speculate and have extra cash.

These stocks are going nowhere and the volatility makes any investment a pass on my part.

Bearish big time. PA is right on the bricks and mortar places but Stevo hit on the head for all the rest. Unless Big Mo is giving the advise, I will pass.

Injuns are opening up casinos everywhere
States are opening up slot machine pitstops everywhere

sooner or later this "***** the players/suckers" strategy bites these Vegas casinos in the ass

and I do not believe simply opening a casino in Macau is a license to print money

David Driscol on Rob TV just recommended William Hill as one of his top stock picks. He's a consertive bottom up value manager. He loves the cash flow, long term management, growing sector and the fact that they operate in an environment where it's perfectly legal.

Never heard of him being an American GKB. Which means nothing of course.

But i will speculate he controls an awful lot of money if he has to stretch into the Gaming Sector to find value.

If he does not manage a fund and isnt purchasing the stock where it can be seen in a report I would take what he says with a grain of salt.

If he is then more power to him if he is a true conservative/value type guy.

Beause I know that works.
