Detroit -115 a Bargain tonight

Detroit (66-32) owns the best record in baseball with their wins split evenly at home and on the road, and is 28-12 against AL Central foes.

Jeremy Bonderman looks to win a career-best fourth straight start and the Detroit Tigers look to continue their dominance within the division when they open a three-game series against the Cleveland Indians at Jacobs Field on Monday.

Bonderman (10-4, 3.53 ERA) is 5-0 with a 2.31 ERA in nine starts since losing to the New York Yankees on May 29. In three wins this month, the right-hander has allowed only seven runs and 15 hits in 21 2-3 innings.

Cliff Lee (9-7, 4.86 ERA) will start for the Indians looking to reach double digits in wins for the third straight season. Lee is 1-2 with a 5.94 ERA in three starts after winning his previous four.

shoppach instead of martinez is a massive downgrade but then again infante for polanco hurts detroit a lot too.
wind 19mph out to right but bonderman doesn't give up nearly as many bombos as lee- but lee is a lefty.

Bonderman's a high strikeout guy vs. a high strikeout offense. Get a grading of about 8 K's for Bonderman based only on recent form:

Median of last 7 starts: 8
Only start at Cleveland this year 8:

From high to low over his last 7 starts...4-5-6-8-8-12-12

Good match up for him from the looks of that...

The best team in baseball's pitcher has a 2.5 times (recently) better ERA than Cleve's. I see that as value at -115. Maybe I'm wrong?

so much is dependent on lineups- just take a look at atllanta- already without jones and jones- pratt for McCann is a huge dropoff.

Pinnacle raised their limits to 50K on this game. What were they thinking? I woiuld guess 9 of 10 are on Detriot here. (Including me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img])

What did Pinnacle see here here to justify that limit?

Detroit is 33-15 on the road as well.

they were saying on the Tiger broadcast..the last time a team scored 5 or more in the 1st inn in 3 consecutive games was 1891??????....seems odd it's taken that long
