| A $350 +$20 tournament that started at 4:30 edt where they guaranteed 150 seats attracted 7337 players, making it 234 WSOP main event seats- pretty staggering stuff.

| I do not know how many they sent last year-but no one sent 200+ from the same tournament- I think they are expecting <=8000 since it looks like they have 4 first days with approx 2000 players a day.

| Last year, I believe they sent around 1150 (the best I can remember). I am fairly sure the 1295 entries they are showing that have won the package is larger than last year. The original format was to have 4 opening rounds capped at two thousand per day. So I guess they were expecting 8000 entries which is roughly 1600 more than last year. |

| Its even more staggering when you realize that just a few years ago, 234 was the ENTIRE FIELD for the final event. And now you have a single web site sending that many players - incredible! |

| This may be the peak of that internet participation....for instance, don't look for the partypoker owner and/or CEO to come to Vegas to welcome his 1295 internet entries. Bodog also sends some internet entries to the WSOP, but Calvin will not show up. Did BOS send any poker players to the WSOP? |
