What will Barbaro pay to win at the preakness?

If anything over even money why wouldn't people bet as much as possible on Barbaro props to win preakness at no at +100 or better than hammer him to win with track odds on day of the race?

he will go off 4/5 in a ten horse field.he is impossible to bet against except as a stab as if he repeats that performance he will jog and if he does bounce or throw in a stinker you cannot bet anyone strong anyway.

Be careful if he draws 'way outside. His Derby race was almost a carbon-copy of Thunder Gulch's Derby, and TG
drew outside in Baltimore and never had a chance.

Dinque I agree abt the price but do not agree at all with the prognostication-
the animal had much the best of it in the derby-while his main contenders had anything but-

fully expect rebound performances fr BD, SSS and one or two others.

Plus still waiting to see whether the Shiek's horse makes the trip-horse has some talent and would have been the second choice in KY if he had gone.

If your going to beat him it will be in the preakness. He will be tough to beat at a mile and a half.

i thought he went fast early, almost with the two speeds who finished 16th and last.i watched the race a few times and all the alledged bumpings were pretty trivial.i like to try very hard to beat even money horses since they are, well, horses.i am probably not going to play the race

Yes I agree he was in behind faster than normal fractions but I do not think they were blazing-I was surprised PVAL stayed inside, but do not think much of either of the two speed horses.

He may be a world beater, it was certainly a world beating performance, but Desormeaux's move was ridiculous and BD's post was pretty poor-

I think ultimately they are closer in ability with barbaro as the odds indicated before the derby rather than the difference the result indicated.

Get a little boost on the CD dirt to well bred turf horses too, whereas you know the PIM surface is much different-you know me dinque always looking for a reason to bet against the chalkies.
I read somewhere the animal who ran 6th, name is escaping me, off of two weeks is skipping the Preak so that is one already gone.

Showing Up...also out of the Preakness are Lawyer Ron, Sinister Minister, Bluegrass Cat, Steppenwolfer, and Jazil. Baffert is waiting until working both Bob and John and Point Determined next Monday before decided whether to enter either of those in the Preakness.

I have him pegged for 1/2 off odds, a lot of hype will be created off a 6 length winner.

Also I expect BD to run much better, he was 7 lengths off Barbaro at the top of the lane, usually he runs on the lead by then, basically BD never got a chance to run his race. Look for BD to stick to the hind of Barbaro in the Preakness and it'll be a hell of a race and if I can get 4-1 on BD, I'll pull the trigger.

I think Barbaro will keep some out of this race-- I look for like 8 to go.

I think he will be 3/5.

Discreet Cat just turned 3 --they are pointing him towards the Dwyer--was the best information--I could get -- I know its dated but what the hell.

The closers will skip and head to Belmont and thats where they could get him.

I think this horse has the talent--his race reminds me of Fusiachi Pegasus and he got beat in the Preakness.

Horse reminds me of Monarchos, a good horse that won the Derby because the better horse didn't run his race (in case of Point Given, he was short a prep)

If they gave out an ESPY or Eclipse for "worst ride of the year", this one would win in a landslide.

Was like he had been playing 6 straight hours of Gallop Racer. A long sustained move into the shit that only a computer animal could pull off. Brilliant.
