I too love the small conference tournaments. I am an incredible shut in the next three weeks. Love this time of year---non stop basketball--teams playing hard, brackets, etc. Great time of year.

Missouri Valley Conference, Southern Conference, Horizon, MAAC, Colonial are all up.

As well as Mid Continent (non board and non added team league) but of interest.

Some great info in there Buzzy. Any idea on what the to win odds would be on the Mizzou Valley? Think the Valley might actually be alittle overrated with all pub they have been getting lately but it could be the most evenly matched tourney out there. I love the UNI team but they just can't score right now, Bradley might be playing the best of any team right now.

Will you hurry up and put the freaking Sun Belt up?! Man if I looked up Middle Tennessee's 3-point averages for no reason I'm going to be ticked!

Everyone...please feel free to chime in your thoughts on the conference tournaments. Buzz has set up separate threads for each one...and we can go round by round in each event and see what the power of the collective here can come up with. Time permitting I'll put in boxscore summaries for each game so we can see how the stats worked themselves out...and what they might mean in the later rounds.

We may come across some great opportunities to exploit this week and next...and it will be a great exercise to get ready for the Big Dance when it's easy to lose track of which mid majors play defense and which just hope their treys fall in.

Feel free to add in any other stats or information you've come across that can shed light on these tournaments for everyone...
