O/U on whining threads next week after Steelers win again: 26.5. Game wouldn't be as close this time as Seahawks caught Steelers' worst game in two months and still lost by 11.

I like how people think the Steelers played Bad, LOL, the Seahawks made them look bad, they were clearly the better team. SEA had 7 terrible calls go againsts them and they were calls that took away pts or led to points, not irrelevant calls. Not only that, Pitt had a 75yrd, a 35 yrd pass on 3rd and 28 and a trick play go for 50yrds and a TD or they MIGHT NOT HAVE SCORED ALL DAY! Sea had them confused on offense and on their heals on defense, the penalties and 3 big plays made it a misleading final. I still cant believe people on this site can say with a straight face the refs were partial, LOL. Turn on the TV, turn on the radio, read the paper, internet, thats all that being talked about, not just by gamblers, by fans as well.

Again, Sea could not overcome adversity such as Pgh did vs Indy. Sure their Offense moved the ball with the quick out stuff & that did work, but pgh had a bend but do not break defense, the D was money when it counted, Trick play ?? pluuueeasse, Everybody knew that exact play was coming & pgh executed it flawlessly. I watched the entire replay & tried to be impartial in my 2nd viewing & came to the conclusion that the borderline calls went pgh's way, no more. no less. Final, (final) thoughts, Holmgren had good offensive plan but did mismanage clock. Seattle's D was tough all day. In the end, Sea could not handle the calls that went against them, & Pgh eventually exerted their will on them & at the end of the day, took the championship back to Pgh, while Seattle cried in their Latte

I think the refs played a part in the outcome. But I also think the Steelers played there worst game in two months. Ben was off, but how can you fault him. He carried them there game after game. The Steelers have nothing to be ashamed of. They won the SuperBowl with there tough road wins in the playoffs.

It looks as though shoe is attempting to be the forum's biggest putz- trying to be as popular as JJ down the road -who knows? Well, one big difference, JJ is clever and entertaining, shoebox is as boring as watching grass grow in the desert- same post every single time. Bet within your means next time and you won't be such a whiner- we can hope.

I keep hearing how Pitt overcame adversity after a bad call went againsts them in the INDY game. Wasnt it something like 21-10 when the Polamalu INT was overturned?? Not exactly dire straights, they had much more room for error, all the Calls came againsts SEA with them Tied or already trailing anf the knockout blow comming on a phantom hold that would have given them a 1st and goal at the 1 with 9 mins left only trailing by 4. How did the Steelers play bad??? they didnt have ANY penalties, they didnt have any rust, they didnt burn timeouts, they were just dominated.

Ben's worse game of the year Shoe. Had time, just missed recievers. You can let him throw that pass at the goal line 20 times in a row, and he won't throw that pick again.

Loman, find me an NFL game where you out gain your opponent, out 1st down your opponent AND win the turnover battle 2-1 but lose the game by double digits???

Add the 100 or so yards SEA got hosed on penalties, not just the yards they lost (70) but what it cost them close to 140 and then think half of Pitts yrds came on just 3 plays, it was domination.
