Was watching Trojan rewind with Petyos and Barry, that run that Reggie had where he stopped on the dime at the sideline was just like Oh Jay vs UCLA in 67'

I saw all 4 play in Person shoe, Marshall as fast as Reggie but not as shifty. Barry was a beneficary of playing on astroturf in NFL wasnt nearly as good as the Juice on the college level.

Sanders only got to play one year, because he was behind Thomas and then left early, but no one has had a better season running then he did. In the year before he was everyone's All-American kick-off returner.

He wasn't the best but my favourite to watch was Herschel Walker at Georgia. LT at TCU was something special too.

Only knock against Sanders was his lack of breakaway speed. IOW could be rundown by most DBs. I liked Earl Campbell for both power and speed.

Agreed. He was Superman. I thought Earl for the first three years of his NFL career, was the best football player (regardless of position), I've ever seen. Almost beyond discription at times.
