Default who is new england pats drafting?

any of you bostonians hear anything?

i like steven jackson over kevin jones. i think jackson is going to be a monster. jackson plus the pats passing game? ouch!

i heard they like 1 of the williams recievers also.

then they also have a late 1st round pick.

if they win next year, will they be top 3 best of all time?

I personally like Kevin Jones over Jackson, but that's just a matter of opinion. Definitely the worst RB draft in a long time.

Even if the Patriots win this year, I still think the early 1990's Cowboys would annihilate this team, as they were the best "dynasty" that I ever saw, followed by the late 1980's 49ers. I was too young to really remember the Steelers teams of the 1970's, so New England would be the 3rd best dynasty that I would have ever seen should they win this year (a big "if"). As it stands right now, I think the late 1990's Broncos were better in their two championship runs, but that's up for debate.

pats w/ a running game will be scary

you ready for your eagles games- 37-34 scores

their offense is potent but their pass defense will be the worst in the league

they have to get rid of of that middle linebacker simminou...too damn small

4th conference champ game??

back to pats...i would of loved to of seen belicheck against some of the best offenses

Tony,

I'm not registered at the Rx, I guess someone decided to use my handle at a few other sites, as this is the only one where I'm registered under this handle. I think the Pats with a running game will be scary, but will either Jones or Jackson step in and run for a 1000 yards? I think Faulk, although not an every down back, is a valuable part of the Pats offense as it is, and either of the college guys won't nearly have the hands out of the backfield that Faulk does.

As far as the Eagles, I really think this will be a big year for them. Going into last year I was thinking 11-5 or 10-6, and they surprised me with a gutty 12-4 record, before choking away the NFC Championship game for the second year in a row. This year, they have a much easier schedule than they did last year (not sure how that's possible) and should be able to get 13 wins and homefield yet again should McNabb, TO, and Kearse remain healthy. I can't believe they didn't sign a corner, as they still have money to give, but I'm hoping they can get one in the draft if Vilma and DJ Williams are gone when they're selecting. Corners are the easiest to plug into a position right away in the NFL, so I guess that Reid thinks that a good corner will come in the draft. Another thing to think about is that Jim Johnson could possibly be the best defensive coordinator in football, and did more with less last year than I've ever seen a defensive coach do. In the typical Philly fan fashion though, all of this means nothing until they are playing in the Superbowl, as anything less barring a major injury is totally unacceptable.
