Default BCN is off MajorWager until I can solve this problem.

I have proposed to BCN that they pay the honor the bets at 50-1. It is their choice now. I can sleep with 50-1. I hope they can as well.

Much respect to you for doing the right thing. It will be interesting to see what they do now.

Looks like a wakeup call for everybody involved.

Books will pay closer attention to their futures bets and remember players need to be confident their bets will stand.

Players will make sure the futures offers are current and remember just because a bet can be made doesn't mean it should be.

At this point even if they honored it I wouldn't take it. They are obviously showing they are sweating out the payout.

Thats fine Red Eye. Maybe the next time you make a bet at 100-1 when it is 20-1 you will think twice about being a half decent human being and notifying the book.

Kinda figured you would say something like that. " half decent ", you mean the CS at BCN, with the way BCN has handled this matter with lies and deception. I don't need to notify the book of anything , they just ned to do their job a little better , thats if they have a job to do in the near future. By the way I didn't notify WTTS when I bet Toronto at 125/1 to win Divison last week, whenSportsbetting at them at 20/1. Does that make me a Half decent human being their too ? Thats what I thought. Try again, the more you Post the more ignorant it looks to all of us

Good decision, Major....for taking BCN down. And if BCN had proposed this 50-1 to the players instead of cancelling their bets, I would side with BCN. But I can't fault Redeye or the others for not accepting this proposal now. The players have done nothing wrong, in spite of your accusations (again) that they are not even half decent human beings. At least that's better than being called scumbags or scammers.

I notified WWTS one time (after I made the bet) and found out that the line they had was wrong. I told them I would understand if they cancelled my bet and they told me the mistake was their fault and let me keep the bet.

True you don't need to notify the book, that was your intention in the first place because if you did notify the book, you probably wouldn't have got the bet through.

You figured you would hit the stale line then one of 2 things would happen, they would let it stand or they would cancel it and you would use the forums to pressure them into letting the bet stand.

At least be honest about your intentions, you guys try and sound as if your 100 % innocent in the whole debacle.

RedEye - What do you say - take a little break - let this cool off a little bit. Major is trying to tell you that you just can't take shots at sportsbooks - sooner or later it will catch up with you.

What ever happened to MW arbitration--allowing a few qualified and respected individuals to arrive at an impartial and fair verdict in cases like this one?

It still exists. People refuse to follow the rules and use it though. I know why too.

What happened to this quote :

ITP, spend a few minutes and read this slowly and repeat it to yourself. You must have missed it the last 24 times I said it. KV I understand not being able to read, but frankly, you suprise me.

If the line was off because they were lazy, they should honor the bets.
If the line was off because some idiot added a zero, then they should not

Which was it? Obviously it wasn't a clerical error on 3 seperate lines. Why would BCN agree to a 50-1 payoff if it should have been 10-1 if if was a clerical eror. It has been shown since that they are very very slow and clueless when putting up their futures. The O's at 8-1 and Toronto at 100-1 while Toronto was 2 games ahead of the O's.

You said it 24 times Major: If the line was off because they were lazy, they should honor the bets.

They were lazy.

I admire you for pulling down their banner. I would have laid 100-1 that you wouldn't have. However, if it goes back up, I will claim that I only laid 10-1.
