Under. Online is hot, but there's still a ton of B&Ms that have satellites into the big event. Not to mention that most entries aren't even in yet - people are winning the Satellites and Super Satellites right now and will be doing that right up until the minute the event starts. Ever been in the satellite room? There's people lined up 3 deep waiting to get into them.

Crazy PA, Funny though, I was just told that 6k have already signed up and 5k are from internet. I actually thought closer to 75% but then figured there has to be a lot of guys who just cough up the 10k instead of taking the time to play and win (or not) the long ass tournies online.

What? No way this is right - its been 10 large for years and will probably always be that way - 5K barely gets you into some of the later events in the series. Check your info, I'm almost sure you're wrong on this one.

Yeah, I saw that posted earlier too, but I doubt its true. Its much too early to really tell how many entries there will be. Bottom line is there are a TON of opportunities to qualify throughout this month in Vegas. $1000 one-table sats, $500 super sats, $200 super-super sats, etx. People are qualifying, in person, left & right as we speak right now.

Minnow posted the 5k before she edited Paranoid.

I think the top 5 online poker sites have already awarded approximately 3700 seats ( rough summation of what they are promoting on each site-Stars is highest at 815 and counting) and are awarding them at record pace still.

Why on earth do people go nuts for a chance to win a seat to a tournament that even the most skilled players HAVE ALMOST NO HOPE OF WINNING? Where you need to get about 30-50 lucky breaks just to cash?

Because that is their ONLY chance to get in the big dance.

Better value then most of the Lottery's.

If I was a pro, I would strongly consider paying the fee.

With all these players I have to think the expectation is higher than the takeout-I would think there is just to much dead money for it not to be.

P6 the opportunity cost is a killer at this particular time, i do appreciate the kind words.

I really do believe it is posev if you have any skill-

and even if it isn't surely every other reasonable game in town will be.

I am hoping to play in some of the US Champ events later this yr at the TAJ and maybe if things keep going well take on Mach in WPT at the Borg early next yr.

TA,

Thanks for the Heads up about Point Spread.

I'm shooting 100 3's against Peckle for 1K per shot. I'm giving him 3 baskets. I'm a lock to make between 37-45. I figure he'll be good for about 28. I'm banking on about a 10-15K profit.

I was wondering why Peckle kept trying to get me/HB to play doubles tennis against him and some mystery guy. Now I see what he is up to. Nice try Peckle!

If you want to give it a shot at the WSOP PM me.
