| Dean down to $31 I think Kerry has a big shot in NH, which would be a huge surprise to Howie and might knock Dean down to about $25.

| Kerry overnight at wsex at 39 44 dean at 26-31 edwards at 11-15 Edwards backers must be disappointed as his big showing didn't translate into money. One of the fun things watching politics is the major gaffes those pompous guys make. Ones' like this from a fringe candidate: Quote:

![]() The Actuary had the play tonight. Shorting Dean to win Iowa graphs like a slam dunk. You coulda had it a loooong time ago. Made my 40% tonight on Edwards and might reinvest after NH. Great thread Mo. |

| It looks like Gephart has used all his political cards and is as a tired a face as any. Rumor says he may run for US Senate-Kit Bonds seat. John Kerry- I can't believe won this thing. Talk about tired. Does Anderson have a shot, does he have any money? This showing for Dean doesn't knock him out but makes NH key to him I think. Great thread.

| I would be curious, any of you folks with some knowledge, if the assumption is Kerry is the dem nominee instead of Dean now, what state is most likely to have changed hands?

| As far as what states the Dems can win that they lost before, I think WV, Tennessee, Florida and maybe one of the Carolinas, would be possibilities. Especially with Edwards on the ticket. |

| "Great profitable night batposters!! Good job!! On to N.H. for some more easy dough. Good luck everyone!!" posted by DICKHEAD I am coming to the conclusion that you don't even bet. You are living vicariously through these forums and your only source of income is working as a mod at the RX after leaving your ticket writer job ($8 - 10$ an hour) in Las Vegas. Truly sad BATMAN but you act more like ROBIN. |

| I was way off on this one, props to others who saw this coming. Thought Dean would have a better turnout in Iowa, didn't think a loss would hurt his chances this bad, and didn't think he would act like an idiot after an early loss. |
