George Karl is attempting to not let that happen. He knows what he has in Carmelo and is attempting to separate this teams confidence/indentity away from Carmelo. If they had beaten Pho last night without him on the floor for entire fourth Karl would have made a huge leap forward. Yet he loses nothing as they should have beaten Pho and had no Camby/Nene/Melo 4th Q/injured K-mart. Karl will preach no moral victories all the while knowing this team gained a ton of confidence from what happened, and took it as a moral victory. The Nuggets have a hard time with Nash, but the Suns have just as big an issue guarding Boykins. Carmelo is not Lebron. Carmelo needs to be PART of a team, and not the team. He plays no defense AT ALL so in turn it is very difficult for him to lead a team. He is good offensively, but not good enough to overcome his problematic defense, and let him get on guys for effort. Karl knows this and is attempting to put him in his place. The Nuggets can beat Pho in a seven game series.
