I sat in the third row at St. Mary's College in Moraga and watched him play. 38 points and 24 rebounds if I remember correctly. The guy loved to bang and to top it off, he could hit his free throws. A man among boys. After the game, he must have spent 30 minutes signing autographs for kids, students, and alumni.

WOW, seems like just last week.. I remember how in the NCAA tournament Loyola took off and crushed NM State and then Alabama and even Michigan I think before a loss to UNLV.
