Wow 6 replies to a thread where one of the biggest fighters of our generation is found to have tested positive of steroids. I would venture to say there would be at least 75 replies if the words Barry Bonds replaced the words Roy Jones in the title. Granted, boxing isn't as popular as baseball in this country, but what a bunch of hypocrites.

What is in Ripped Fuel , the product Jones admits taking? The article says it is an over the counter drink, and I have seen it sold at my local gym. The article then says it is an anabolic steroid, how can this be? I am I correct in thinking it contains andro or some other precursor that is not illegal but still banned in most sports?

Part of the reason in the lack of interest in the post I believe, is that people think boxing is so dirty that steroids is hardly an issue, more like eventuality. Meanwhile they believe in the sanctity of baseball even though they are surrounded by evidence to the contrary.

Ripped Fuel is made by TwinLab and contains Ma Huang, a form of ephedra. It is not even close to being a steriod.

Not alot of replies and noone cares because he admitted to taking an OTC product that anyone of us can buy legally but happened to be against his particular sports rules. They jumped his case about it, he stops taking it and tests negative on subsequent testings. Big whoop.

Much ado about nothing.
