I would like to hear what the word is on how much McNabb and others will play tonight. I am on the Rams -1, I would just like to know how much to be on them. Any information from the Philly area would be much appreciated.

What I read was this, Westbrook out, McNabb will play the 1st Q, Detmer from there, Thomas Tapeh and Reno Mahee will split time at RB I got STL -2 looking to take Philly +4, I dont like this game at all, Rams and Martz are really bad. I took Phi 1st Q +.5 -33, gonna have -2 +4 middle.

I wouldn't mess with the Eagles coach. He's not going to play this game for nothing. Don't think for 1 second that the eagles will just lie down and get beat. Nobody want to go into the playoffs after a couple of losses. Nobody!

This is from the Philadelphia Inquirer, I think almost all top flight starters will be gone by halftime. "The starters are going to start and play, and then we will take it from there," Reid said during the practice week. "I will say this, it is a great opportunity right now to see some of the young players play. We will see how that goes as we get in the game." Reid's plan never got more specific than that, and even defensive coordinator Jim Johnson said he didn't know exactly how things were going to look. "I wish we had a blueprint of exactly what we're going to do," Johnson said. "I do know certain guys are going to play a certain number of plays. We'll kind of go from there." Johnson, like Reid, is looking forward to seeing some of his younger defensive players get a chance to play. Jerome McDougle and Jamaal Green figure to get plenty of time at defensive end, and rookie cornerbacks Matt Ware and Dexter Wynn will likely be on the field quite a bit, too. Rookie kickoff returner J.R. Reed will see plenty of action at safety. At linebacker, it could be a busy night for Keith Adams and Mike Labinjo. Linebacker Jeremiah Trotter said he would like to see the Eagles maintain their standing as the team that has given up the fewest points in the league. On offense, it wouldn't be surprising to see Donovan McNabb make a quick exit, with Koy Detmer and Jeff Blake getting a chance to play. Ditto for Brian Westbrook, who some have speculated might not play at all. Look for Thomas Tapeh and Reno Mahe to get their share of touches while Westbrook and Dorsey Levens get their rest. Wide receiver Billy McMullen may see some footballs thrown his way for the first time since last season, and Greg Lewis will likely be the No. 1 option on at least a few plays.

i got on the under early in the week, thanks brett. imo, philly runs the ball and eats clock if they are smart. st lou offense in bad enough shape that philly can control the game and sneak out with a win.

Yes they do. They are 13-1 and don't want to start losing now. They have a super bowl to win. That's a lot different than some college football players who have nothing to gain at all by winning. The school gets the money, not them.

why even play him? a guy going out to just go thru the motions sends the message to other players that there is a lax attitude. all it takes is for someone to miss an assignment and down donovan goes. would be better to just start detmer who sure as hell does care if they win the game, and his attitude will rub off on his teammates. just my opinion but reid really shouldnt even bother if its just going to be 2 series.

| UPDATE from St. Louis - McNabb only to play a series or 2 not the whole 1st quarter Thats what I would do. Definately no more. Good point Nino.
