No, not if you plan on trying to win some coin there.. If you dare to do so, you will be limited and have to call in all your bets and will be given a different line.. Not to mention you will not be allowed to bet certain things that Jake does not like you betting on(props, 1Q's or what-ever). If you manage to overcome all this and come out ahead anyway, there is a good chance you will be labeled a "wise-guy" and have your earned bonus taken away..

If you plan on losing all your money, or stay under $100 a bet, it is as good as shop as anyone..

Hope that helps..

Decent book. Doesn't like "sharp" or steam players. wouldn't send that kind of money anywhere,. but if i did, wouldn't be there. If you're sending that ind of money, they'll definately watch your account like a hawk.

Stay far far away! They will cut your bets back, stall you, and if you win, find a reason to keep any bonus money as well as a reason to hold your winnings. I posted up years ago, when I started to win they did all of the above, and forced me to negotiate to get my own money back. Post up $ and winnings, not bonus money. They can't be trusted and there are many, many books much safer than Sportbet.

Tommy,

I am pleased to hear that you are considering playing with us. I would be glad to answer any questions that you might have. If you would like, please call me at 800-214-9666 and I will gladly get you started. In response to some of the naysayers, please feel free to ask any of the mods across the street about me. Feel free to ask Ken, as well. Heck, as The Major, too.

Sportbet.com has been doing business since the beginning of this industry. We were one of the first 4 or 5 books around. We have always advertised on the forums, so we have many people who play with us who post. Whereas we are not without our issues, on occasions, the good news is that I am always here and available for the player. The moderators at all the sites know this as do all my players. If you come to Sportbet or Island Casino and you are looking to grab your bonus and run, you will find that I am not that accomodating. If you come to my books looking to play, get a nice bonus, some great promotions (-105 tuesdays, 1/2 pt thursdays, FREE Football Fridays, Best Bet Bonuses, etc...) and get paid quickly when you win....we will welcome you with open arms.

Robin,

Please understand that there are two sides to every story. As my father always said "the truth can be found somewhere in between".

Dominator,

I never take bonuses away from clients just because they are sharp. I defy you to prove otherwise, sir. I also NEVER, EVER tell a client he CANNOT bet something that I offer. Again, I defy you to prove otherwise. I am not trying to start an argument, just stating that your comments (as they are made) are flat out not true.

Colorado,

Your experience with us appears to have occured a few years back. I am sorry to see that. I would be glad to try and rectify that experience by showing you the improvements in our software and service. I welcome the opportunity to change your mind, if you allow me. My number is 800-214-9666 and my email is Jake@sportbet.com

I welcome all calls and comments. I look forward to offering my assistance in many different facets and should the need arise, I will post again.

Jake Slater

Sportbet has come a long long way over the past year. Every since the re-organization as a matter of fact. And they don't advertise here. I would play there if I were playing now and not have any worries.
