Kansas -4 over Iowa State

I bit at the open at -6, and have bit since then at lower numbers. History means nothing here--KU has the best team that they've had in years. This line should be 14.

Iowa State is a BAD, BAD team, and will not cover this game. They beat Baylor---so f'ing what. KU has given Neb & Oklahoma very good games. These teams are not even close.

Rip away at me, but I'm calling a Jayhawk 37-10 final.

I will say this. You might benefit from a "phony final" in the kan-Okla game. Kansas was within 4 late in the first half. Oklahoma were the better team and secured the win in the 2nd half. But as been documented on many posts, Stoops outwardly went for the late cover and possible pollster recognition, in lieu of taking a knee late.

That might have shortened the # under a full TD. GL, man.

TT....steele just sent me powersweep for nothing this week....his underdog play of the week is ISU...fwiw, the pick has won outright the last 3 weeks (last week was michigan)....i dont like the play and i agree with KU...

he calls isu to win 20-17

but he really dont make any case for isu whatsoever...he basically says KU has played the stronger schedule played OU tough last week and almost beat neb/tt but he feels ISU is much stronger at home and beat bowl caliber NILL here in sept as their gom.....

i dont know i still like KU

and the more i look at it...the more i LOVE OU this week....okst is a 1 dimensional team and OU will CRUSH them if they cannot throw the football....i cant believe how low this line is....this is a GOY type play IMO....i think OU will beat this team by 21++++

fwiw, steele has OU as the 4* is this weeks powersweep....

he predicts 38-10 and i have to agree....i just dont see how this doesnt become an absolute blowout

Oklahoma kills OKy St IMO. If the Sooners get a lead in this game, the Cowboys are in big, big trouble. They are not a good passing team. Things could ugly real quick.

Well, now I have a problem on my hands. They are calling for 25-35mph winds in Ames on Saturday with gust to 50......Not what I wanted to see. If KU can't pass, they are in trouble.

I love the pick TTinco. Its getting full on the Kansas bandwagon.

Kansas hasn't won on the road in the big 12 in years, I think. I don't think Iowa State has much and Kansas is legit for the first time ever. Their defense is very good. I do think the -4 is cheap and if we can get some help from Phil Steele we might get -3 or better. This would be a great spot for Steele as he used Iowa State as a 5 star winner earlier in the season.

My play in the Big 12 is Texas Tech- really think the entire Big 12 North is terrible and they are struggling against the south. Kansas State is really bad this year and probably shouldn't be favored over Tech, I think most people will think they have righted their ship with a win against Nebraska which wasn't that impressive- Nebraska is terrible- and Tech getting killed by Texas should give us some value.

i like TT also...ksu is down....and TT beats up on the mediocre teams...they were in over their heads last week vs UT...thats a classic example of pretender vs contender....people were buying into TT alittle to much....this week is different b/c ksu isnt a contender and neither was NEB when they dropped 70 on their heads....i think TT wins this weekend

and id lean to UT and A&M both of those teams should win easily....

Husker- I am a huge Nebraska fan- that quarterback may be the worst player I have ever seen in a Nebraska uni. However- Missouri is a fraud. I am thinking of playing Nebraska tomorrow.

Rumors circulating that Pinkel- MU's coach is headed for Washington- wonder if this would distract the players.
