Stevo, thanks.

No, I work outsides sales for a company that reps about 10-12 products.
We provide the goods to the dispensaries, and to the delivery companies.

I'm moving into two established territories with a lot of accounts, will just manage/maintain existing, and try and get into new ones.

In 2018, California will be legal for Recreational use, that is when we should see a substantial increase in sales then. Right now you have to get a license to visit the dispensaries. I got my license online for $69.

Can't move product across stateliness, but will have plenty of "samples" at the convention in Vegas, November 11-12.

Best part is that my best friend just got a job doing same thing as me, and the guy that hired us both (VP of Sales) is also one of our friends.

The company has a facility where they first:
Grow the weed.
Trim the buds for sale.
The trimmings get pressed for oil.
The oils go into the edibles, and the Vape pens.

My new manager told me that their lowest guy pulls in 150K/year. My territory is 30 miles north thru 30 miles south of my home.
He gave me some "samples" yesterday, I handed some out to my friends, ate a small candy last night, slept like a rock.

Oh yeah,,per boss' orders: my mandatory attendance is required at the Cannabis Convention in Vegas.
yeah, I hate those "filler" jobs between careers; just a dead end, low paying, nothing you can put on the resume, type thing

hopefully I didn't come across as arrogant, or being a punk.
I'm fortunate to have a large social circle.
I was brought up by a single-mom, used to take the city bus to practices. (10-15 miles)
When I was 18, I lived in a shack behind a house.
It had no running water or sewer.
I lived there for about 6 months, moved to a rental with 4 other guys.
This guy (VP of sales) visited me(used to hang-out) when I lived at this "shack". some of those guys (one of my best friends died) would stay there when they needed. I went on to play college ball, and always stay humble to my upbringing, and those of my friends..
Now that I'm successful I will never forget where I came from.
It was just a few steps either way..
If any of my friends or family need anything I will always be there, just like my friends here at MW.

No, there is just a little envy on my part. Although I know the cost of living out there, in certain areas, would eat up 150k very quickly.

I'm stuck in a cubicle, selling kitchen suppression systems. It's not very interesting. I think I'd rather make people feel good. I have a conference this week in Marinette wisconsin, to learn about a new kitchen suppression system. I think I'd rather be going to a cannibis festival in Vegas. And I'm not a 420 guy.

If you ever want to fall asleep quickly, just pick up a copy of an NFPA booklet, and start reading fire code. About 2 or 3 paragraphs in, you'll be nodding off.

Baller - I hope you know I'm thrilled for you and just teasing a bit with the hope you can get buy comment. I think it is very cool you were able to find something so quickly in a growing industry.

two days of "training" at a hotel on the ocean in Monterey, during their quarterly get together.

it seems like I might need to tone down my pace. Don't want to out-work anybody.

visited a couple dispensaries, was surprised at the clientele, a lot more elderly people, not just young stoners.

Nino, I'm with you. I sampled a little weed with some colleagues and didn't like it.(paranoid, self-conscious)
I did like this CBD Vape pen, however. I don't know a lot about the differences between THC and CBD, milligrams, etc.. but I didn't know everything about the last products I sold either..

My buddy who got me the job is a huge Raiders fan, said that our convention in Vegas is in November

thanks for checking in guys.

ps, had the under in Houston, Over in GSW, can't run into a good pick lately.

Indica won't make you paranoid. Strong Sativa can make you paranoid. Indica more a sleep and pain aid.

Great stuff though Baller.

Nino. I don't like smoking anymore either. Much rather eat an Indica brownie and just relax on couch while watching sports.
