If Trump is smart, he will make up with Cruz and strike a dirty Diana deal to stay in the race until the end in exchange for the VP spot.

I hope Trump does win, this country can't get much fucking worse anyway. How much harm could he possibly do in 4 years? Probably a lot less than any of the alternatives.

I heard something the other day that made a lot of sense about politics in general. 99% of everyone in Washington is either a career politician (i.e. never had a real job) or a lawyer. How come we never elect professionals to represent us? How come we don't send engineers, doctors, entrepreneurs to Washington? The mess we have is a direct result of who we have sent and continue to send.

And that goes back to what I said about the President not really having much control over anything. Until as a group we start sending different people to represent us no matter who is elected President they won't be able to make any head way.

for entertainment value and curiosity Trump would be great. If you are going to bet on R candidate take Rubio and given how week clinton is and how Sanders was even a challenge if Rubio is candidate he wins in November

I think Trump has this thing locked up. He is leading by wide margins in Nevada and most of the Super Tuesday states. I think he can beat Clinton too!

Trump leads heavily in 10 of next 14 states:

Trump has taken the air bet out of the race. Right now there is no drama. Going to win tonight and possibly sweepy next Tuesday. Until it gets down to at least 3, he will continue his runner runner. After Tuesday may be too late other than a broke back convention because his lead will be too much. Republicans have a lower delegate threshold and no"super" delegates.

i just read that before i stopped by here Pappy. We will see, I think initially I was amazed, however given where we are at with social media and the crap on tv whihc i have thought for awhile was a reflection of the intellect of the U.S. Trump saw through that and is running this like a reality show which in fact the way the media covers washington it has become. I thought even a week or two ago no way he wins, I'm pretty sure now he will.
