Do you think its market cap can reach 1 trillion? Do the math if so.

Fucking around with that pos Rebecca Blackcoin, 5.25 BTC became 2.2 BTC and tried to win it back. Should have just kept in in BTC and not worry about it.

Now I have to win a walkoff just to get to where I would have already been if I did nothing. What did I do to deserve this?

From now on, I will transfer a % of any betting profit to Marco Polo. No upper limit how high bitcoins could go. Could still also go to $0.

It's tough to just leave it in there and not touch it while it continues to grow. I'm considering cashing in some stocks and pumping that money into ethereum. This shit is just so crazy I wouldn't even believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. I wish wish wish I got down earlier too. I could be sitting so pretty right now. I read today some joker said $40,000 is not out of the question in a year could you even imagine

Starting with the 2016 Yes Masters, I went on a somewhat epic run of futures and pawlays, rooster. No slamdunk fire and furry but several high 4 and low 5 hits.

Danny Boy 2016 YM
Sergio 2017 YM
Special British Open
Trump MAGA

And then the roosters and pawlays. All's I had to is set aside 10% in bitcoins and do nothing. 6 figures. Plus I had multiple legit walkoff looks. 2 most despicable were the 2 Raffy Wimbledon cats. Almost back to back got to 7-0. All plus monies, mind you. Did win good coin but the finish line would have been $100,000 each. He ended up winning the US Open but I didn't get to him anyway. Piece of pusssy Justin Thomas shot a 10 on a hole to blow his matchup with Fowler and Ko Ko the kunt Vandy broke my heart and my cat against sweet Caroline Woznasty.

Then I put that shit in Blackcoins, it went down and the rest, as they say. If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be. Final Cwissy Destiny. No matter what, will end like this.

Well that didn't last long. LOL. I'm sure it's just pussies pulling their profits out but it's pretty shocking to see how quickly you can lose multiple thousands of dollars with this shit

I'm reading varying reports. Some say 20K in one transaction and some say 20k total transactions.

Quote:
A California federal court has ordered Coinbase to turn over identifying records for all users who have bought, sold, sent, or received more than $20,000 through their accounts in a single year between 2013 and 2015. Coinbase estimates that 14,355 users meet the government’s requirements. The full order is embedded below.

2013-2015 well before it skyrocketed also.

If a shithead like me as $2.5 million in incoming bitcoin transactions, I can only image how much a shark would have. The Feds can twist that any way they want. Really, it's only in the mid five figures at the time of the transfers.

I just don't see how they can tax capital gains on a currency. I know they treat it like property, and in principal it may work, but in practice it's a nightmare.

Ok, I buy .01 bit coin for $100.00 It goes up in value to $150, and in march I use .005 bitcoin to buy a widget at company x that takes bitcoin. So now I have to pay sales tax, AND capital gains on that purchase. You can see how confusing that might get. I suppose in theory I had $25.00 gain.

But when you are talking about cashing out .000013257 bit coin for a cup of coffee or whatever, exactly when did I purchase that .000013257 bit coin, and what was it's purchase value vs it's cash out value???

But wait, I took .5 bitcoin, and bought 100 cardano, and 4 litecoin, and .3 zerocoin, and now i traded 2 litcoin for a hodl, and cashed that out in Ireland for 38 euro, how much is my capital gains?

Go fck yourself.

The USA needs to convert to a national sales tax.

So let me get this strt, you want me to treat it like property, and pay capital gains, and taxes on my coin profits. So I'm going to dump 10k to buy a bit coin, risk all of my money, so I can give you Half when I profit from it???

What happens when I get paid BTC as income? You're going to tax that as income, and then when I cash it a month later you want me to also pay capital gains on the same already taxed coin??

ugh.

I think I need to buy a bunch and hold. I don't have to pay taxes until I cash out. So when it's worth a million or two, I just move to some 3rd world country that doesn't tax those transactions and live out my life on the beach.

I think there are still ways around this even if they try to enforce it. For example using blockchain.info where they are just a wallet. So if you want to sell at some point for a very small fee you can send all or some of your bitcoins to blockchain, wait and then send it back to your trading platform and sell. In theory by doing that you don't have any gains because you sold as soon as your transfer was complete.

But if you keep it in your trading platform and they know how much you paid and how much you sold for then you might be in trouble with the tax man when you sold.

I'm with Cwissy. 100k is a 50/50 probability.

Govt or a better competing currency could derail it, but it's tough when it has that much energy.

If this bull market goes bear, and folks need the money it could cause it to take a severe tumble, temporarily, but I think we get there eventually. I don't think 1M to 5M is out of the question.

Dash went from $10 in January to $800 a coin. High 200's at the beginning of November. It's crazy.

I spent $7000 on a family trip to Ireland. I sat on that money from Jan - Sept. I could have bought 700 dash, at $10 each. Cashed out 35-40 of those in Sept to pay for my trip, and kept the other 665 which would now be worth $800 each.

Instead of sitting on the $7000, I could be sitting on $500,000 AND still had the trip to Ireland.

Crazy.

Took the plunge, and bought litecoin, ethereum, and bitcoin today. I'm in. Late, but In.

Still only about .1% of the population on board. There is still a TON of upside.
