Default Five things to watch in Lions-Rams game

Five things to watch in Lions-Rams game

This will be a big test for the top pick in this year's NFL draft. It will be only the second game on the road for the Rams quarterback, who will face the Lions' formidable front four on defense. The last time Bradford played away from home, he threw two touchdown passes, one interception and was sacked three times -- at Oakland.

No. 1 vs. No. 2
There was some contention about whether Lions defensive tackle and second overall pick Ndamukong Suh was truly the best player in college and deserved Bradford's No. 1 contract. All right, then. Let's settle it today. Whoever has the better game gets the No. 1 contract. Or maybe just a handshake.
Shaun Hill

Let's not forget about the Lions' quarterback. He's coming off one of his best games, even though he lost at Green Bay, where he passed for 331 yards and threw two touchdown passes to Calvin Johnson. Oh, yeah -- and he's 3-0 as a starter against St. Louis.

Rams' winning recipe
The have a lot of key returning players. They have invested draft picks on good, young players on both sides of the ball. They have a go-to receiver in Mark Clayton, an exceptional running back in Steven Jackson and a bend-but-don't-break defense that has allowed six points over the past six quarters.

Revenge game?
Memories in the NFL are about as long as ... wait, what were we talking about? New subject. No one cares about last year's game, when the Rams beat the Lions at Ford Field in November for their only win of the season. The Rams just want to prove they can win on the road. The Lions just want to prove they can win.
