Arrow Stevo, I'm running out of witty thread titles to use so just open this thread

Some would argue I ran out of witty thread titles 2 years ago but lets focus on the issue at hand.

Minnesota Lynx +5.5 (might find +6) over NY and if you feel like taking a shot it's worth a 1/2 case of snapple on the money line at +220

The Minnesota Lynx are a funny team, at the start of the season I predicted they would contend for 1st in the West all they had to do was win 50% of their games without Auggy & C-Wig (these are not official nicknames for Seimone Augustus or Candice Wiggins just something I've dubbed them) Anyways they went 2-7 without Auggy and they looked awful including their historic 12 for 58 shooting night against Indiana.. yes in 40 minutes they made 12 fucking shots.

But then Auggy came back and they started looking like a real (womens) basketball team again. She's played 4 games now, she returned @ Phoenix in a game they could have and should have won, @ LA when Parker went down in a game they were in right until the buzzer and then 2 wins over Tulsa which should only count as 1/2 wins because Tulsa would lose to a team from a childrens hospital....

Now I realize the 2-2 record isn't exactly lighting the world on fire but when we dig deeper we can see the effect that Auggy has had. In the 9 games before her return Minnesota had a god-awful 23.6% turnover rate, in the 4 games she’s been on the floor, down to 16.7%. They are the 3rd best rebounding (percentage) team in the league and dammit stevo look at their starting 5. Augustus, Whalen, Wiggins, Brunson & Anosike. This is a solid starting lineup this is not a 4-9 team, they are only going to get better with every game they play together.

Now I’ve already explained at length my feelings toward NY and how overrated Cappie is and how McWilliams-Franklin doesn’t belong on the court so there’s no need to go through that with 4 more paragraphs that no one will read.

The bottom line here is Minnesota is the better team, will that translate to a win tonight? Who the fuck knows but I’ll gladly take them every time in this spot....although maybe I'm just a stubborn idiot

oh and yes dell dude I know j > #19 etc etc etc.

They were down 1 and then Auggy went to work

1:27 MIN - S. Augustus makes a 12-foot running jumper along the left baseline
1:48 MIN - S. Augustus defensive rebound
1:50 NY - C. Pondexter misses a 19-foot jumper from the right wing
2:09 MIN - S. Augustus makes a 22-foot three-pointer from the right wing. Assist: N. Anosike

Don't worry #19, I GOT THIS

I'm not good with original witty stuff at all so I'll just repeat the same old one.

Suck on that N.Y.

Thanks Yzer.
