| Hand # 90 LMAO, don't think you can fold any 2 if you are moon: 6,000,000 more to see a pot of 36,000,000 is how it reads: Hands #90 - Begleiter Shoots the Moon Joe Cada has the button. Under the gun, Darvin Moon raises to 1,300,000, and Steve Begleiter puts on his thinking cap. With the deliberateness of a surgeon, Begs stacks out a re-raise to 3,900,000 and slides it forward. Moon thinks about it for just a minute before making the call, and the two men went heads up to the flop. It comes , and Moon instantly checks. Begleiter, again very deliberate, continues out with a bet of 5,350,000. Moon peeks back at his hole cards before re-capping them, and the crowd begins to stir as they sense the drama unfolding. Sure enough, Moon makes a healthy check-raise up to 15,000,000. Begleiter takes a big gulp and a big breath of air as he studies Moon. After a couple more minutes, Begs announces an all in for 21,000,000 total! It's just 6,000,000 more to Moon, but he's not calling quickly. He rocks back in his chair, clearly not liking his predicament, but he's got a ton of chips in there already. After a few more minutes of head shaking and frowns, Moon returns his cards to the muck! Begleiter's cheerleaders erupt in ovation at that monster pot. We've got a new chip leader at the final table. After that surrender from Moon, Begleiter is up to 44,100,000, trailing only Eric Buchman and his top stack of 51,800,000. |

| Moon looks like he tried to scare him off and was probably left with 10 high or some bs hand. Might as well fold. Why give away another 6m. If it's preflop, no.

| Yea I think he may have had something like J10 no spades. He probably figured he was up against a bigger pair or AK of spades. If thats the case he only has 4 outs. If that was the case its either a horrible fold or a slighlty ahead fold. Probably better off to call and see what happens. Atleast you get to see what Begs had. On the other hand the players will probably think Moon is real real weak now so If he is smart enough the fold may halp him down the road. Either way if he had J10 he probably should have bet 13 mill or so which would make it an easier fold and save him 2 mil

| The broadcast will be fun but heads-up will be on Monday (playing down to two players into Sunday afternoon at this rate) and the TV broadcast the day after on Tuesday night. The folks over at 2+2 (as you would expect) is calling Moon's fold a horrible play. |

| WORLD SERIES OF POKER: Five remain at 2:45 a.m. break At 2:45 a.m. Sunday, the five remaining players in World Series of Poker’s Main Event took a break with Antoine Saout at the top of the leader board with 58.625 in tournament chips. The tournament has had four leaders over the last 13 hours. Eric Buchman is in second with 54.2 million while Joseph Cada is in third 43.55 million. Cada, a 21-year-old Michigan resident, has become the story of the tournament, going all in and playing for his tournament life at least four times. On the 123rd hand, Cada was down to 2.25 million in chips, but stayed alive. Darvin Moon is now in fourth place with 31.95 million. Jeff Shulman is in fifth with 6.45 million. The WSOP's final table started Saturday in the Penn & Teller Theater at the Rio. |

| Ivey's comments after his elimination Posted by Howard Stutz Sunday, Nov. 08, 2009 at 01:57 AM Phil Ivey blew off the national, local and poker media after he was eliminated from the World Series of Poker's Main Event early Sunday morning. But he did talk with the tournament's media director, Nolan Dalla. Here are those comments. Question: How did the difficulty of this final table compare to other final tables you have made and high-stakes games you have played? Ivey: Yeah, it was tough because I was handicapped by my chip count. So, I was kind of waiting for something good to happen. I mean, I bluffed a couple of hands. But there was nothing really I could do. The last hand obviously, was a little unlucky. I did have ace-eight against two fours (earlier) also, where I lost that pot. And then, I just got grinded down. I held off and stayed even for a little bit. And then, I got it in with ace-king and lost it. There was not really much I could do. Question: Is there any satisfaction you can take from this, after making it to the final table of the WSOP Main Event final table for the first time? Or was it simply about winning and nothing else? Ivey: It is definitely just about winning. So, it’s disappointing I did not win. But I am happy with the way I played. I think I made pretty good decisions with the amount of chips that I had. And, I think I gave myself as much possibility of winning it as I could. There were a couple of things I would do different. There was a hand that came up earlier where Jeff Shulman opened for $1.2 million, and I moved all-in. I had two kings that hand. Joe Cada had two tens. If Jeff Shulman would not have opened (with the raise), then I probably would have raised and been able to double up right away. So, there were a couple of things that could have gone differently. But they didn’t. That’s poker. I think I will be back within a couple of years, so I am not too worried about it. Question: While you were playing, could you feel the energy of the crowd? I think you could tell than many people were cheering for you. Could you feel that support? Ivey: Yeah, absolutely. It was an amazing experience. Poker has come so far. I mean, when I first started playing, I would tell people I play poker for a living and they would look at me like I was crazy. So, to see this – it’s really mind-boggling. Question: When is the next time we will see Phil Ivey at the WSOP Main Event final table? Ivey: Next year, probably (smiling). |

| Moon vs Cada heads up on monday, Cada has gotten so lucky its been unreal. Suck out after suck out. Now he has a huge chip lead over Moon and is well on his way to being the youngest winner ever. Also he was down to $2 million once today and came all the way back.
