BSM FLAT OUT BLEW UP A MONEY MAKING MACHINE UNREAL.
wow that's something else... i remember buying a feist football preview mag once or twice back in the day, for something to read in emergencies lol. but the show, sorry i couldn't get into it, all it was was blah blah blah 30 star special / monday night blowout / inner circle selection / guaranteed winner ad nauseum, and of course the cokin ''under the hat'' coup du jour lol. and that's all from ONE episode i saw, i refused to watch another, it wasn't even entertaining like a radio show that used to come in on isolated channels, talking about an ''outlaw line'' and disguising their voices, that at least was amusing. feist and all just served to put me to sleep.

but to each his own i guess.

enjoyed reading about your days on the production, please tell us more when you get a chance.

cheers man.

Please erase my 1st post. Thank you. I was merely quoting that info from another site. Please erase, on basis of questionable factuality. Thx!

Guesser, I always liked Cokin. Always did the show w/o notes. Seemed like a pretty cool guy.

Production is a flat out trip. The truth of the matter is is that production starts in January. Just as you start thinking about the wild card games for the weekend, we are already busy planning for next years football.

And I mean busy.

Production is way more than about putting on proline. Thats just the end combined product/result.

Getting all those magazines out, knowing where and how much your going to spend on advertising and with whom, where your going to spend new money and so on. Keeping track of it all is a nightmare. And I am just the guy who does the work, makes things work. My boss was the heavy and the long time true brians behind the operation for like 29 of 34 years Jim owned the buisness.

Keep this perspective in mind as we go foward as I will give different insights from a combined perspective.

Just keep in mind that when I talk about a room average of 9.3 mill a year. Proline in my time cost 6++ million to put on. A sum Jim had to pay every May to secure those time slots he had for all those years. He paid for it up front for like 20 years straight. Think about that for a moment.

Thats not even including all the free pick phone lines, the schedule and other stuff. And thats after paying for the magazine, the advertising and all the associated cost of getting things to the printer and then to distribution and on out to you by mid July when you start to scrounge around for your magazine and other things you need to get ready for the BIG FOOTBALL SEASON.

I should not have posted the 1st msg. I should have at least quoted the source I got it from. Lee Sterling, please accept my public apology.

Juice, I don't buy it. Feist is selling polished turds. Feist is the guy sitting on the corner saying "Buy my snake oil. It cures all."
