I wonder if those kids, having been on wife swap twice, are a little addicted to the media? Just maybe they like all the attention they get at school, and cooked this one up. I'm sure the kids just think it's funny, and had no idea how costly or serious the ramifications are. Somewhat similar to the proverbial "pulling the fire alarm at school".

Agree with the consensus on the board. This sounds like a scam that (at least) the brothers cooked up, and considering the parents media history, I wouldn't be surprised to hear they orchestrated the whole thing.
