That seems like a good selection. Atletico has been asleep all year, and now have their first big game at home with their new coach. For whatever reason, the first game in front of the home folks with a new coach usually has positive results for a team. Drogba returns to Champions League after missing the first three due to suspension (remember him going ballistic in last years semi?), and he loves to show off on the European stage.
Atletico's defense is horrible, and although they haven't shown it this year, they have dynamic strikers, so as long as Chelsea doesn't decide to play defensive tactics, we just might get a shootout. Only concern is Chelsea has a HUGE match against Man U in the league coming up, but that's not until Monday, and even if they rest players, they are so loaded that the bench is dangerous. Atletico face their rivals, Real Madrid, on Saturday, but I would still hope they are pumped up for this game. As horrible as they've been this year, I would think they would give a good effort today if they have any dignity and self-respect left (which is a question mark). New coach, new attitude? Hope so.
I also like the Besiktas-Wolfsburg match under 2.5 a little bit. At first glance it seems like a bad choice, since Wolfsburg plays open style football and has been in many high scoring affairs. But under the circumstances of the standings, and going into the very hostile surroundings in Istanbul, and having Grafite out on suspension, I'm guessing a defensive minded strategy happy to get a draw. Besiktas are missing a lot of key players, and they just don't seem like a team that's very dangerous with it's finishing. The crowd will be going nuts, like they always do in Turkey, but I see a dull, low-scoring affair in my crystal ball for this one.
