Default MMA Guys

Taking a big shot on Machida is a good idea, right?

I have such I large percentage of my bankoll on machida that Im starting to second guess the fight on the daily, not sure machida has ever fought another fighter with footwork like rashad, both looking to counter so it could be a borring fight, machida is the most elusive guy in mma, I have a feeling rashad is going to have an even harder time landing a punch than most people think, When rashad throws a meaningful punch it is usually a hook, problem is they are easy to see comming because of the way he loads up on just about every power punch, rashad is a great wrestler so I do have some concern with his ability to take machida down and possibly ground and pound his way to a decision, but to answer your question machida seems to me to be a once in a generation type fighter, not sure I will be looking to make a bet against him for the next few years

Thank fuzz. I feel like -- Evans = Hatton ... made for t.v., not for fighting.

wouldnt quite say that, Rashad is a formidable opp but you are right about him some what when it comes to stepping up for the big fights, Rashad has arguably been beat in fights by Tito ortiz and Bisbing both of who would have no shot against machida, Tito was actually destroyed by machida in their fight, didnt touch him the entire 3 rounds except for a late subb attempt, Machida in his last fight took on a very good fighter in Thiago, maybe the most dominant I have ever seen a fighter treat another top level fighter

well rashad's only chance is a stoppage. I see the dragon picking him apart and winning an easy decision.

no way he wanted to take that beating, we get a better matchup though, Cain still takes it

Cain vs Kongo is interesting. A little while ago, I would have said Cain by way of 1st degree murder. Kongo's ground game used to be pathetic. But he has progressed very quickly, and has really beat the shit out of some of his opponents.

Still picking Cain by GnP TKO.

I'd like to see Cain/Lesnar/Carwin go at it. Whatever's clever, any way you match them up will be great.

Cain at +140 is a joke, I thought maybe a pick em or even a slight fav, Saunders +170 and Cain +140 will probably be my only 2 plays, almost sure to turn a small profit, have a real hard time seeing both these guys losing
