Terry Etim looks like a good bet if you can find him in the -200 range.

Buchholz hasn't fought in almost a year and he'll be fighting overseas in Germany. Those are two rather large strikes against him.

My only worry is that Etim weakness is his wrestling and Jason's strength seems to be his groundwork and submissions. That kid knows the rubber guard and he's lighting quick when comes to transitions. Corey Hill made one mistake and Jason capitalized by quickly taking his back and submitting Hill with a textbook rear naked.

He's got a wrestling base as well, unfortunately you really didn't see it against Corey Hill because Hill is another fighter who comes from a wrestling base too.

what a jump, must be an injury I would think, +130 to -180 dont see that often, glad I locked cain in early, I thought maybe the line would creep into a slight fav for cain but -180 is just insane

I was told Cain hit -210 at one point, would have made for a much nicer scalp

Shogun is getting this chance because of politics. The UFC wants to make money with the higher ratings guaranteed by a Rampage vs Rashad coaches duel on TUF 10. With the addition of Kimbo Slice, this season should be a monster. I personally believe that Machida will kick his ass, but hell in MMA you never know what will happen. But on paper, yeah... Lyoto should tool him. Rua has not looked good in the UFC, except for the Liddell KO- which is not what it would have once been. Those knee surgeries hurt his game and his training. Not much gas against Coleman or Forrest. Hopefully he at least shows up in shape this time around.

Kongo won't be able to stuff Cain's takedowns. He'll be in trouble on the ground. Cheick is a guy who has progressed a lot since his entrance to the UFC, and is now a great fighter in his own right. But again, on paper this doesn't look good for him. Let's see what happens.

That Lawler/Shields fight could be a fun one to watch. The Whitehead/Randleman fight on the other hand could suck balls. I might make a small bet on Whitehead.

Brown is too big for that division. I usually don't like to bet against weight-cutting wrestlers, unless they're green or they suck. You never know when they can snooze out a LayNpray ala Tito Ortiz, Sean Sherk, Chael Sonnen, etc.

That said, Faber is the more skilled, and certainly the flashier, of the 2. I'm hoping that he knocks Brown's head into the 3rd row.

Isn't the general rule of thumb to play every fav in mma as they win at very high rate.

Rule of thumb, yeah.

But Arlovski has been mighty chinny as of late, and the bloated gangsta g might tap it on one of those 3rd-grade haymakers.

'SlimNtrim' Baroni has not looked good in his last few fights. That fight could easily go to Riggs. It's impossible to tell who has the more mental issues? Maybe Belfort could enlighten us.

Diaz is a tough dude. He probably grew up eating spam mixed with chef boyardee pork & beef. But Smith is a live dog- what with his hands of steel, and whatnot.

I just have that funny feeling that the dogs will make moolah this time around.

i actually like diesel to beat baroni. The Belorussian will most likely win but the threat of a lucky punch and the big line will make me pass.
