Maybe Matt Millen has some leftover boxes.
According to BetUS.com., the odds are 2-to-1 that the Lions’ Rod Marinelli will be the next NFL coach to be fired.
Marinelli, who is 10-26 with Detroit since taking over head coaching duties, isn’t alone. Cincinnati coach Mavin Lewis (5-2), Kansas City’s Herm Edwards (4-1) and Houston’s Gary Kubiak (5-1) were also mentioned.
The odds don’t improve from there.
The Lions are listed at 4-to-1 to be the team that finishes with the most losses this season, and Jon Kitna at 5-to-1 to be the first quarterback to lose his starting job. As for odds of winning the Super Bowl, Detroit is 750-1, good for a league-worst tie with the St. Louis Rams. |
