Default Is Ed Hock-a-loogie's call the worst ever ?

Come on.

It was a fumble blown dead.

You'd have to be a FUCKING blind man to make that call.

Is he on the chop or what ?

speaking of which, even if it was a pass, it's a backwards pass and a live ball. this makes me mad and i didn't have a dog in this fight. every official involved in that play and review challenge should be fired.

actually the review got it right but hochuli himself whistled it dead so it's a fumble recovered by the chargers except it was blown dead so broncos maintain possession.

they can't write comedy like this.

EXACTLY... It was complete bullshit, as bad as that idiot that boned Washington in the NCAA last weekend.

These fools should be fired immediately. On the replay- ZERO whistle is heard.

And, I didn't have either team as a bet, a pool pick, a LMS entry... nada... so no ax to grind.

true no whistle can be heard on the replay until the ball was run out of bounds by the chargers... except blowhard hochuli was waving his hands for an incomplete pass which isn't the same as a whistle so the fumble should've stood.

if this means less primetime games for hochuli my lost chargers bet won't totally go to waste.

Agree with howid. Ed was beloved on the forums because he explained his calls well. Never was good as his reputation.

If I'm correct here the official response after the game was that the whistle was blown before the fumble so the play didn't count. For this to happen the official would have had to have blown his whistle for absolutely no reason a few seconds after the ball was snapped and right before the QB fumbled the ball (or threw it backwards for a live ball).

Which brings up the logical question, if there was no penalty on the play why would the official blow his whistle in the middle of the play with nobody around the QB during a pass play before the QB releases the ball? This should be the official question to the official explanation given. A question that is unanswerable of course because there was no reason for the official to blow a whistle.

It was rigged there is no other explanation for it.

I'm just surprised I didn't bet this game. I have already had fore badbeats in too weaks. For the record, I also have had too goodbeats but one of them was due to mother nature. I like Ike. I like Ike.

if it was rigged he would have called defensive holding which no one can question.not think that i am going to blow my whistle in case cutler loses the ball and move it back to the ten and then he no doubt will throw a td and make a two point conversion and i will win my bet.
