It appears that the Eagles will be without both wide receivers -- Brown and Curtis. Plus, the 12 noon game today between Temple and Connecticut will likely destroy the field due to Hurricane Hannah. This would seem to be recipe for the under regardless of any capping on the total.

jackson will fill in nicely. please don't tell me that missing Brown is a big deal... their receiving core is mediocre at best. so, missing a chump like Brown won't be a big deal. The 'D' will shut down the lambs.

the tight end play will come more into play for the birds.

can't wait for opening day @ the Linc. go iggles!

gc, andy likes to brag about all his receivers. I wouldn't start Jackson, but instead see how good Avant and Lewis really are. Jackson, as a rook, has enough on his plate to play third down and return punts. Lewis is always good for a TD against the Patriots.

first rook under andy to start @ wr. can't wait to see how he does.

i'm not a big brown fan - seems like he always has his best "training camp ever" only to suck ass in real games.

I agree. Thinking the Eagles "D" may pitch a shut out here. Under looks good.

Under does sound good, especially since Rams QB Marc Bulger has sucked rocks recently. his passing %s are the worst they've ever been, pitchin 20% fewer yards, and has his worst INTs > TD ratio than ever. not sure why he's been in a funk, but ever since they gave him that $65/mil extension, he's been terrible ...

Eagles have got to love not playing on the asphalt-hard playing field of the Vet too
