texans under 7 1/2 is a strong strong play..

they have a horrible oline..no running back, and the only skill a true offensive threat thay have is at receiver with no one to get him the ball.

2-4 is the absolute best they can do in division imo. seriously anyone tell me how they get to 8

how do they get to 8? they arent gonna beat better teams like minny gb
or any division foes on the road....maybe ill give them tenessee but someone tell
me how this very weak team with no skill on offense and only one true player

I disagree with your comment on offense. I think they have lots of offense (when healthy) but their D is terrible and that more than offsets their offense. I think that's an awesome play. I'm gonna go see if I can't pick up some of that.

well..i dont know..their running backs blow and we all know they cant protect the qb...matt schaub may be ok..may not..i could be wrong on him i admit.

Schaub is fine..but the line is weak. RB's are suspect. Green is old, Slaton can't tie his shoe without getting hurt and can't run inside. Andre Johnson is a stud though. They may score some points, but not sure the secondary can stop anyone

I'm not playing the OVER or anything, but I don't think the line is all that off. The Texans offense was pretty good last year despite the sub-par o-line, Andre Johnson and Schaub being injured.

If you made lines on all their games this upcoming season as of right now, they'd be favored in 8 of their games (although at home against Jags could be around pk/is debatable.)

I also disagree about their defense to some extent, I assume you were talking about Williams, but Ryans is also a very, very good player. But its still a below average defense, even if Williams continues to play like he did down the stretch last season...

Robin, I still wouldn't rule out 8 wins, though it's unlikely. Looking at Don King's schedule, all eight of his "wins" are still on the schedule. Now that the season's started, I'd probably flip the Tennessee game (projected as a win) with the Cleveland game (projected as a loss) to get those 8 wins.

Again, not saying you don't have a good wager, but I wouldn't go grading anything yet. If they manage to get close at the end of the season, I think the week two bye is an added bonus for you as well.

i hear ya philly and its a def still a gamble until it cashes....i just personally think they are a very bad team .

in don kings projections he has them beating tennesse, chicago, and jacksonville.

i dont see them winning any of those games. especially ut and chicago.
