"they are sensitive, they value their lives"

umm, i might disagree with that

we often give animals a lot more credit for emotions and intelligence than they really deserve

they don't have a brain that functions like ours

Maybe not intelligence across the realm of all animals but i think emotion is more constant than you think.

My wife and I were watching "tapout" last night and she ask me what the difference between dog fighting and ultimate fighting (as to why one was legal.)
The show had lots of blood and bruises...didn't have the quick answer for her.

the ultimate fighters CHOOSE to fight, and for greater rewards than a dried up bone ...

Let me put it to you this way if you and a cow were laying in the street starving and a peta rep walked by but could only save one of you. I can assure they would save the cow. I love animals but these peta folk are insane. To them animals should have equal rights as humans.

with the way things have been going around here, pretty sure most people would save the cow over me.

Didn't realize PETA wanted animals to have the right to marry and the right to vote. Big difference because equal rights and wanting animal to be treated respectfully.

I keep looking at that ad Yzer posted. Its .......ummmmmmmm. I don't know how to explain it. But Yzer is right. There is kind of a weird genius behind it. I can't stop from reading it when opening thread.

Well i do love and respect animals but when i eat a nice juicy steak i don't feel the least bit guilty. While it's unfair for me to paint the entire peta group with one brush i think the most extreme members are nut jobs but i find that most extremist are crazy. When i say equal rights i mean the extreme peta members think your life and my life are no more valuable then a dogs life. Anyway one of my cats are crying he's old so he is either hungry or just wants to be reminded that he's not alone so i gotta go.
