Anyone planning on seeing the Dark Knight this weekend?

Yup, i think they have a 6am showing here on Friday....Probably gonna stay up and head out to see it then, to avoid the more obnoxious afternoon/nightime movie crowds.


Not sure if i'm just getting older and less patient, or if people in general are just getting less respectful, loud and obnoxious in public, but, either way, the last dozen or so movies i have seen at night, i wind up spending more time plotting to stab some fucker in the back of the neck, than i do the movie plot.

I hate crowded movies. People are so freaking rude and loud it is pisses me off! I went to see a movie a few weeks ago and there was a bunch of people behind me and they were talking like they were at a bar throughout the entire movie.

Yeah, i just can't take tat shit anymore...And, i'm tired of going to jail all the time for stupid shit, so, i just avoid the situation.


It's a shame really... I can't even imagine how people in their 50's and 60's and up must feel when they go out with this shit now...I'm just hitting my 40's, and all i wanna do is burn people alive or shove a fuckin nail file through their temple when they invade my 'space' in movie theaters and shit..

It just ruins the movie for me 75% of the time these days, so, no point in even trying much anymore..I just go when that 'type' of crowd might not be around as much.

Ftr, i don't mind loud, boisterous crowds in general really...If i am at a bar/club, or say a sporting event, i expect loud idiocy...I just hate when people can't keep their fuckin mouths shut in places where their actions affect the people all around them.

you should see if they have a midnite show, many times theres a midnite show, there is in my town. the deal with midnite sneak previews is they arent listed anywhere. they arent online, they arent on the recorded message, you have to actually call and get to a live person or go by the theatre and ask them. that way you wouldnt need to stay up for the 6 am deal...

i am in the 60/range and the last time i went to a movie my mom wanted to see 'We Were Soldiers' in Seattle when it came out, so i took her against my better judgement (i know how i am in those situations).

there were these two guys sitting behind us that wouldn't shut-up, so after biting the bullet for an hour i finally stood up an said to them, "this movie is stressing me enuff as it is, so shut the fuck up" .... you could hear someone chewing popcorn in the back row

i refuse to go to a movie now, and am quite content to wait until it comes out on dvd

do you remember last fall i spoke about this gal that would come over during NFL season while i was watching a game, and wouldn't shut her fuckin yap for 2/seconds the entire 3/hrs? i wouldn't have minded if she were talking about the game an askin questions, but it was all the local gossip that i could give a rat's ass about ... boy howdy, needless to say she didn't last long around here LOL
