The review said the replacement, Maggie-long-name-that-starts-with-a-G was much more convincing than Mrs. Cruise. All I know about her is that has kind of a weird face and I saw her in some movie where she played a felonious single mother with the saggiest boobs in the history of cinema. Did she seem right for the role? I enjoyed the first one and like Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldham (understated, for a change) in their small but important supporting roles, but I won't see it in a theater for a long time, if ever-I can't stand crowds, either.

Her boobs were a wreck after she had the kid.....They were actually nice and perky in 'Secretary' though....

Mrs. and I go try to take in the movie today.
About one hour in no picture, audio but the screen is black.
I'm up outa my seat looking for the manager and in a theater with 14 screens they have about 3 people working in the afternoon. (I ain't hip to crowds either anymore)
So I finaly find someone who stops the movie and the 30 or so people in there are looking at me like I'm the friggen superhero because I went and got someone. Everybodys bitching and raising hell. So the real manager comes right up to me first and hands me a fistfull of free passes to any movie anytime. She then proceeds to give everyone else one.

Me and the Mrs are unfullfilled (typical) so we go home to let the dogs out and decice to try again later.

damn man, that blows, but, was funny as Hell reading about it..

at least you got some free passes out of the deal....did the manager not even try to get the film running right?

actually, since we are on the subject of movies/reels, etc... What exactlydo theaters even use these days to show a movie?

meaning, i am pretty certain they don't use reels anymore, so, what do they use, dvd's or something? anyone know?

Mamma Mia, here we go again. Just when you thought the Abba musical was dying down, it is back … and this time as a sing-a-long.

A new version of the Mamma Mia movie will be going to cinemas at the end of the month.

The sing along edition of Mamma Mia will feature the song lyrics across the screen so the theatre audience can join in with the music.

Mamma Mia has been the year’s success story, grossing more than $320 million worldwide.

The Sing Along Edition will hit American screens on August 29.

Last time I got thrown out trying to stretch a single into a double but with this sing along stuff, I believe, I will be sliding head first into home base!!! If you know what I mean and I think you do

We will be singing together then I will take her hand and we will be dancing in the aisle, baby!!! That will show her what a fun, spontaneous guy I am

She will have a story to tell for a long time. Who dances in theaters??? SlipperyPete and his date, THATS WHO!!!!!

I'm watching some goofy flick right now called 'Trust the Man', with her, David Duchovny and Julianne Moore...I think she has a really uniquely pretty face.

Especially her smile....I honestly think she has one of the prettiest smiles i've ever seen.
