If he tried it last night, and drank more than 7 or 8 oz, he probably won't be wanting to look at a bright ass monitor till at least noon....

You do eventually build up a bit of a resistance to it, migraine wise, after a few weeks...but, up till then, it's pretty brutal in the mornings..

I've actually gotten pretty 'good' at the stuff, as far as mixing it with the right stuff (YAGO/Brandy/Sprite) and not overdoing it much, but, it still seems to screw with my head a bit, so, i've laid off for awhile..

Hopefully he knows what to expect.... The dreams and shit can get really freaky, especailly with the King Gold....I could probably just go back to the original green fairy stuff, but, the last few times just kinda wigged me out a bit too much, so, i'm trying to stay away from it completely for at least a few weeks..



I'm glad he finally got the stuff.... I think everyone should at least try it a few times...

looks he he got started at around 10pm....if he got the King Gold, and had more than a glass of it, he's probably feelin pretty beat up still....could be a few more hours before we hear from him...

It really is pretty good.... If you never tried it, you should look into ordering a bottle sometime....if you get the right kind, it's quite an experience...

You may wanna pass on the green fairy...it's pretty harsh even for regular drinkers, no telling what effect it would have on a sober person...


If you ever do decide to try it though, you may as well get the real thing, 'King Gold' and make sure it's from a reliable distributor..some of the ones i checked out early on don't put the herbs int the mix, and, it's pretty pointless without it all, imo.....i mean, the shit ain't exactly tasty, so, without the goodies blended in, it's pretty much just a nasty tasting liqour..

had a ufc party here and a friend who crashed here woke me up at 8 am since i was sleeping sitting upright on my couch with my coat on

once i made it into bed I was OK though

problem is I mixed too much shit to know which substance made for which feeling. gonna have to try the absinthe by itself but not tonight

but I still need some help Uncle. I didn;t try the king gold yet, i tried the original bitter spirit but i read that when you dilute it with the water/sugar it should turn milky? Didn't happen for me so not sure if I fucked it up

when you order, go ahead and get the spoon....it's a bitch trying to do the mix without it..... the best deal i've seen lately, was the 'premium pack', but, if you call them, and ask for specific mixes of bottles, they'll usually cut you some sort of deal, especially if you're buying multiple bottles..

Btw, whatever any of you do, don't buy any of the 'do-it-yourself' kits, unless you get the real thing in a bottle too.... otherwise, you're in for a Hell of a long wait for the stuff to be ready to drink.

it is kinda handy though, cause you can make it stronger if you want....but, if you get the King Gold, you really don't need any extras..it packs a Hell of a punch all on it's own...
