| Drunk and Uncle.. lol I remember a few years back we went to one of those "first night" *sober* street parties, and one of my kids friends was mortified that her drunken uncle tagged along. I told her don't sweat it.. everybody has at least one "drunkle". Ironically his name is Drunkle Mike. ![]()

| Picked up a fifth of Lucid a coupla weeks ago for $55. Interesting effects, but trust me, the taste is a major disappointment. You go for the full treatment in the Olde Absinthe House in New Orleans, and it'll set you back $14 a crack. |

| i am not sure the herbal part really did anything it was just as if I were really, really drunk. Which of course I was cause the shit is 140 proof and I was cutting it with sangria I'll give it another run later this week and see how the 2nd time goes |

I think the original was pretty much just a strong drunk though.....but, nothing feels like i feel when i have 3 or more glasses of King Gold...Nada, nothing compares to the feeling, imo... Maybe i just have some shit in my system that makes me react differently, no clue...But, it ain't just me, cause, even my mother got looped as fuck on the stuff, with just one glass...And, my brothers wife still bitches at me whenever the subject comes up, because of the way it fucked him all up one night at his house.. |

| doesn't absinthe (sp?) make you loose control of your bowels and crap on yourself why would anyone want to frink something like that? I only ask because i read somewhere that the worm wood in it mucks with your brain and spincter muscles. |

i don't mix it with water anymore... i use the YAGO Sangria to cut the Absinthe. Just fill an 8oz glass with 4oz of King Gold and a few ice cubes, then, put a sugar cube on the spoon, and pour the YAGO over the sugar to fill the glass...sometimes i go ahead and make a full Sangia mix to mix with the Absinthe. Iow, get a bottle of YAGO, a bottle of brandy, and a bottle of sprite...Make a glas of Sangria, by adding 4 oz of YAGO to 2oz of Brandy and 1oz of Sprite.. then, use that to pour over the Absinthe, then, use the rest of it as a chaser. sounds like a lot of work, but, it really isn't...you are just making two drinks at once, and making the Absinthe taste much better.. you can simplify it though, and just get a bottle of YAGO, and refrigerate it.... when you go to make your next absinthe, just pour the cold YAGO straight from the bottle over the suger cube and into the Absinthe...Tastes 10x better than with water.. |

| i have the yago, still have a jug of it in my fridge the problem was making it "milky" i heard that was the key to the absinthe no sprite, but I have the brandy and making it to your recipe right now this shit is way too complicated... |
