Anybody See Ricco Rodriguez on Celebrity Rehab?

He's an ex-MMA champ with a gambling problem...I find it a really interesting show...in the last episode it came out that while he entered rehab for a cocaine problem his Doctor tends to think of it more as a gambling problem.

He's an out of control kid who you can see is really struggling and the show captures something about how super-competitive people can be kind of blind to themselves and also be attracted to betting. I would think that he bet on MMA bouts, but of course he wouldn't go into it.

Ricco is one of the most talented fighters in the world. Rodriguez beat current UFC HWY champion Minotauro Nogueira in Abu Dhabi and he also dominated him in one of the worst decisions in MMA history. Rodriguez has had a long history of coming in to fights unprepared though and has paid the price with a string of losses. If Rodriguez trained properly there is no doubt that he would be a champion today.

that little punk bitch from the pop band is annoying as all Hell too...only heard the one annoying song they did about 6 years ago...not sure what it takes to qualify as a celeb these days, but, i'd think tey could do better than some of the morans they dug up.

I'm watching this shit now, and, i can't help but think he's only there because he was pressured into it....dude doesn't seem to be the least be commited to it.

actually, only a few really do.. the majority seem to be there somewhat against their will..apecially the homely blonde chick.

Huge threads on the Underground about the show...Ricco is doing it for the money and attention. he's been blowing hot air since he arived on the show.

The show is one of my favorite Reality serieson TV though..

I find myself really routing for Jeff (grease) and the rest of the crew to get healthy...they all really seem to be in alot of emotional pain. They all have some good in them when they peel back the layers.

Its a really entertaining show. I download the torrents every week so I dont miss it. I dont get VH-1in CR.

I'm sure Ricco entered the program for money and attention, but to me it also seems that something about the process has caught him by surprise. He'd fight it (whatever it is that's caught him by surprise) if he could, but it's an opponent that's always just outside of his peripheral vision.

Yeah, i get the impression he acknowledges he has a problem, but, he doesn't seem to really be there to fix it...

And the way he looks at the other 'celebs' when they speak to him, kinda looks like he constantly wants to stomp most of them to death...
