Joey,

What's ur opinion of Kimbo? I think he is highly overrated and will be dispatched quickly by any wrestler with a halfway decent chin. Growing up as a kid I was always told by my Father (a former wrestler who thinks the world of the sport) that nine times out of ten a wrestler will maul a street fighter and I think his words ring true when attached to Kimbo. To be honest I can't wait to see this hood POS lose as I think his presence brings a bad vibe to the sport.1

He's a average brawler with some natural talent, but a monster money making opportunity for anyone involved with him. He will never be a top fighter ....not even close, but will earn top money b4 its over....so long as they protect the investment. The public will keep buying it b/c their clueless. All in the packaging.

Back on Dec. 11, Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson was featured by "E:60," ESPN's weekly investigative journalism newsmagazine, and a replay of the acclaimed episode airs Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.

The show was one of mainstream media's first in-depth features on Ferguson, who fights James Thompson in the main event of May 31's "EliteXC: PRIMETIME" event on CBS.

In the ufc you'r dad would be right but in a street fight hell no, what's the wresthler going to due call a 3sec pin? you still have to punch and how you going to do that at close range with your hands holding his wrist? i'll take a puncher in a "street fight" over a wrestler every time.

Seems I remember Slice getting his ass handed to him 3 or 4 years ago. Ran him out of gas (didn't take that long) then beat on him. Might have been some other guy, I don't know.

Please explain how you think fighting on the street would give the boxer an advantage? If you think about it for a sec assuming we are still talking about a 1 on 1 no weapons fight fighting on the street would give an advantage to the wrestler. If anything the boxer has a better shot in the ring! Take out the rules and allow the wrestler to start snapping arms and twisting necks, it would get ugly quick. The striker better land that one shot and get the KO before they get slammed on the concrete or they are waking up in the critical care unit.
