| Second of many big cards from Mark Cubans company... My ticket is as follows: Jason "Mayhem" Miller -140 ***** (My second big play in as many weeks. Hope that my luck continues. He will avenge his first loss here. Much better training and experience in the time between the first fight. Like this spot.) This is my only play so far but I may play a couple of more fights as the show gets closer..

| Miller is a damn good talent. Guy does not get the love he should in the sport because he refuses to sell out to the UFC's standards. His one fight in the UFC was a bad representation of his talent as he had no business fighting at 170 or making his debut there against GSP coming off of a loss.. I look for Miller to let the fight come to him at which point he will hit the floor and grab a submission victory... You play anything else on the card Joey? I thought abou taking Yunker and Soszynski but I will most likely keep it in my pants...

| I wont bet these smaller cards much anymore. I hate to discourage action, but small orgs , new orgs = bad money beats & shitty decisions. Theres a cpl on every card. I dont mind losing , but losing by awefull dec just doesnt fly with me. WEC just had one and so glad I passed . I woulda been livid. The England cards are full of same kinda shit. Unless I know something that other people dont... I've learned to pass on allotta the new orgs fights and in hindsight its definietly saved me some money. |

| I can respect your decision to stay away from some of these smaller shows but nothing stinks here to me off hand. Figure Miller is going to be the guy at 185 for them so I feel safe as far as a decision goes... Bad decisions have been abundant this year. I doubt I will ever really attack a UFC card from England again after the Bisping/Hamill debacle. And nice picture of Mayhem. Boy sure has some "Brotha" in him for being a white boy from the sticks.

| See what I mean...... Small events = bad beats.... Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Robert Villegas Round 1 Villegas worked the legs of Soszynski with low kicks for the first minute of the contest. Soszynski came forward with a right jab and a straight left to the body. Villegas then unloaded another low kick that crushed Soszynski's groin protector. The Canadian was given time to recover before the bout resumed. Back to the inside of Soszynski's thigh went Villegas with kicks. The fighters traded punches in the center of the cage for the final 25 seconds of the round. Scott Holmes score: 10-9 Villegas Sherdog.com Staff score: 10-9 Villegas Round 2 Villegas rushed in to pull guard to start the second frame. Soszynski stood and successfully fought off a kneebar. Soszynski then dropped his head and bullrushed his opponent, ripping him to the floor with a single-leg takedown. Soszynski landed a left hand to the body and walked away from the tired Villegas. Twice Villegas flopped to his back ala Vitor Belfort versus Kazushi Sakuraba. The referee warned Villegas for the maneuver. Soszynski stepped forward with a punch and Villegas countered by flopping to his back again. The referee steps in to halt the fight as the crowd showered the cage with boos. The official time is 3:15 by DQ. |

| And steam was all on dewees...and he didnt bother to show up... Frank Trigg vs. Edwin Dewees Round 1 Trigg stalked his opponent around the cage as Dewees struck wildly with head kick attempts. Trigg fired a kick of his own but Dewees caught the leg and tripped him to the canvas. Trigg locked up a Kimura from his back, rolled Dewees over and forced a tapout at 1:40 of the first. |

| Jason Miller vs. Tim Kennedy Round 1 Kennedy survived an early slip to trip Miller to the floor. Kennedy landed a knee to what looked like the chest, but referee Kerry Hatley warned Kennedy ad restarted the fight to standing. A left and a right hand landed for Kennedy as Miller rushed forward with kicks and a flurry of punches. Kennedy is finding Miller's chin with both fists. Kennedy tripped Miller to the canvas and advanced to side-control and briefly, the mount. Miller used good legwork to get half-guard, but Kennedy moved to Miller's back. Scott Holmes score: 10-9 Kennedy Sherdog.com Staff score: 10-9 Kennedy Round 2 Kennedy got a quick takedown early in the second. Back to Miller's back, Kennedy struck the head with his right hand before locking in both hooks. Miller fought off a rear-naked choke and rolled out of danger to the top position. From half-guard, Miller landed two elbows with Kennedy trapped against the fencing. Kennedy scrambled to his feet and went directly to work for a single-leg. Kennedy is cut on the bridge of his nose, probably from one of the elbows "Mayhem" landed. The cut is severe, but action resumes. Kennedy is taken down before the round ends. Scott Holmes score: 10-9 Miller Sherdog.com Staff score: 10-9 Miller Round 3 A takedown by Miller kicks off the third. With blood from the nose pouring into his left eye, Kennedy tries a heel hook from the bottom but Miller has none of it. Time is called as the referee calls for the cut to be checked again. Incredibly, the fight was again allowed to continue. Kennedy scored a takedown but gave up position while trying to pass. An armbar and an omaplata attempt from Kennedy fail to come to fruition. Miller escaped the techniques and punched the nose of Kennedy. From side-control, "Mayhem" poured it on in the final minute with punches and elbows to seal the fight. Scott Holmes score: 10-9 Miller Sherdog.com Staff score: 10-9 Miller All three judges see the contest 29-28 for Jason "Mayhem" Miller. |

| I didn't get to see the fight as I just walked in the house after getting home from my flight... Sounds like Miller popped a nice cut and controlled the fight from that point forward... I'll check it out in a little bit as I am watching the replay of Mayweather/Hatton.

| Sounds very suspect. Looks like they let the fight go awhile in the Main Event as well.

Rumors are true... Trigg soccer kicked the fuck out of him. Miller is a tough kid though. Hope he does well in the sport. Nice to see a Wigger come up... lol
